I guess the month is over and Sony broke their promise to give you 6 + 1 games. We should take to the streets and protest this bullshit.
I'm at work a friend wants to know if the servers are still down?

All these pages later and do people still not get that they did promise the game yesterday, and a simple notice of delay would have been enough for the majority of reasonable users?

Did they not issue an announcement. I'm pretty sure I saw an announcement. Granted it I was 8 hours after it was suppose to appear on the store. An announcement nonetheless.
I think this could be resolved if we have the Playstation crew kneel and ask for forgiveness on a live stream. A sincere apology is all people have been asking for in this thread, and I don't think that's too difficult to provide. If kneeling is too much, maybe just stand.
Except that's not what is happening here. You are getting all of the free stuff, less a PS+ version of Driveclub, which is slightly delayed due to peak usage by the people who purchased full retail.
I can connect to PSN just fine. Nothing else is broken. Sometimes people DO overreact.

Then again if they did some testing before hand they'd've known their servers would shit the bed.

Sony never jumps out in front of issues to curb customer frustration. Instead they remain silent and maybe occasionally giving vague details about potential issues. All of this outrage is really Sony's fault for the way they consistently mishandle service issues.
Verendus is trolling and riding dirty.
Agreed, but still a let down, I bought the D.C. yesterday and it's very addicting (much better with the racing music turned on imo). But the key component of the game of online racing and creating clubs was never turned on, at least not where I am yet.
So we are all buying Xbox ones now?
Sony need to apologise. I won't buy another if their products until they do.... 😁
Evolution Studios said:To our PS Plus fans, we're sorry you're having to wait longer to play...
Sure, a let down. But s*** happens, right? I am sure that Sony isn't doing it to piss people off. I honestly can't think of a single major release that depended heavily on servers that launched smoothly.
While the Driveclub facebook page had an announcement on it I find it terrible customer service that Sony themselves have been completely mum on the issue. It is SONY's store, not evolution's. Sony should be the responsible party here when the issue is game availability on their store.
This really is par for the course though. Sony never jumps out in front of issues to curb customer frustration. Respectfully disagree and that's illogical, Sony owns the store but it's the developer that makes the game and submits it to Sony to place on there story for purchase. It would be silly to expect Sony to apologize for Bungie, if Bungie decided to delay Destiny.
yes. this was the straw that broke the camels back
So we are all buying Xbox ones now?
This shouldn't lead people switch to X1, but might lead to a more of a wait-and-see approach for AAA online-focused titles (see Battlefield 4 for an example) before a developer receives any money.

I was able to play online day one on Forza Horizon 2. And every day since. There were issues with online livery sharing and car clubs but those were on and off for the first two days. The multiplayer/free roam worked from the get go. Hopefully Evo gets this sorted quicklydidn't FH2 have server issues last week for a couple of days? VIP passes issues not giving out cars and finish line syncs problems as well.
stuff like this happens, as long as they get fixed soon, is not big deal.

Yeah. Again hopefully Evo gets things sorted quickly so I can try the PS+ edition soonah I see. so not 100% down, but there were issues.
There is only one thing that will sate our thirst for blood. Roll out the logitech wheel support.
You seem to be advocating for a passive and unresponsive consumer. Personal responsibility here is frankly irrelevant Not that the conspiracies are good things, but it remains Sony's fault. They put out info about all the other PS+ titles. They mentioned the release of DriveClub itself. But they never said anything specifically about the PS+ version. That's terrible PR, that's terrible consumer relations. Any backlash they get remains entirely their own fault. They're a big corporation. They should know better.
So we are all buying Xbox ones now?
Maybe better wait till after GAF megathreadsWell i am when Halo 5 is coming out (assuming its not shit).

True, his statement the way I read it sounded like he was making a general rule no matter the circumstances. In my eyes that goes too far.But...Evolution is owned by Sony...
Glad to hear that was the case for you.I was able to play online day one on Forza Horizon 2. And every day since. It's clear that everything this gen will be shit
