DS and PSP graphs!!

Yep.

Depends which 3rd parties and which games. If I want to release a portable Madden it'll be on PSP, a portable Crash Bandicoot I'd put on DS for example.

Different target audiences and everything else in the US (well, west in general) so very difficult to judge.

Oh and Sonycowboy, any response to my PS2 selling 135m post?

But, has anybody looked to see what the percentage of sales in the US are first party vs 3rd party on the two platforms?

I'll try to take a look, but it's getting harder to spend the time with a 10 month old... and it gets harder all the time. But, I love it. I may have to bequeath my info someday as I'm getting too old for this.

Which part brosh? I haven't checked it today as work has GAF and anonymous proxies blocked at work.

Well I don't have the full breakdowns but I think it's obvious that PSP 3rd party will be much higher in the US than DS as things are at the moment.

Nintendo first party DS games have sold 5.275m out of 9.599m so 4.324m 3rd party or 45%

I dunno about PSP but I'd imagine more like 70% 3rd party, 30% first?

Seperating by "3rd party" sales doesn't really mean much though when you've got EA/GTA eating 70%+ of the pie on one platform. For most publishers out there, it's going to be a crapshoot between either handheld. Face Nintendo's dominance on DS or face EA/GTA/Sony's equal dominance on PSP.
