Yes, $180 for the Elite, then the Elite 2 with bag and components was $190-200.Wasn't the Elite controller itself not 200+ in the beginning?

Amazing first few pages from the team green posters. Both were 200+ from their launch in Europe. Have seen them for 219 etc.

Damn, a lot of PSVR2 comments. Some of you will be complaining when PSVR2 launches in the price range that most are suspecting ($400-500).
The DualSense Edge controller launches on January 26
So we can finally replace sticks in a gamepad if one of them starts to drift but it costs half of a standard controller price (25 EUR).
It's just ironic, that even with inflation, they are releasing a product at the price the Elite 2 released for prior to inflation. Then MS came out with a "Core" version knocking $60 off the price due to only coming with the controller and no components.Well, they would still complain if it was €199
and the Scuf PS5 controllers are $200-$250 but nobody was outragedIt's just ironic, that even with inflation, they are releasing a product at the price the Elite 2 released for prior to inflation. I am sure Sony will do the same eventually as well.
People have some really short term memories.
And you lose adaptive triggers on the most expensive, and I believe they don't have haptics either.and the Scuf PS5 controllers are $200-$250 but nobody was outraged
I was. I'm more likely to dip into my gentleman's purse for an official premium controller than I am for an unofficial brand.and the Scuf PS5 controllers are $200-$250 but nobody was outraged
yup as far as I can tell this Edge one is better in several waysAnd you lose adaptive triggers on the most expensive, and I believe they don't have haptics either.

That’s not bad at all, about what I was expecting for the tech.If this is 200, no way in fuck is a VR headset and 2 controllers 400.
Get ready for $499.
That's what I'm guessing the price will be. $500 if they don't want to take a big hit on each one sold, and 400 if they don't mind taking a bigger hit and to be priced similarly to Quest 2.If this is 200, no way in fuck is a VR headset and 2 controllers 400.

If that's what you want it for, then it's really cheap. People usually pay thousands of dollars for that.imagine paying 200$ just to drift...
Thank you but no thank you... Will wait for a 'cheap' package, without the case, cable, etc, just the controller, like that 'cheap' Xbox Elite or try those DIY back buttons adapters.
100% the cost of a Dualsense Edge44% of the cost of a PS5 itself. 55% of the cost of a digital PS5.
67% the price of a Switch OLED
84% the price of a Series S
No thanks! This is for people with more money than brains. I'll just use the controller in the box.
lol Sony is crazy. I got an 8bitdo Pro 2 for $40 during the recent Amazon sale and I guess that's the only controller I'll be using for a while. Hope it actually lasts for some time cause official controllers are too expensive for my blood.
What controller costs €50? Not a DualSense, that's for sure, and neither did the DS4.
That said, this thing is ridiculously expensive. Or maybe this is just what "professional" controllers cost, I've never bought one. I don't really play games where I feel it would make a substantial difference.
ExtremeRate no?Really wish they would have kept making those.

Hand cramps and random activation of R3. Like random melee attacks when I'm just aiming and shooting in COD. Also, $200 lol.Does anyone else have hand cramps while using the DualSense?
Seriously, never felt that before with a controller. It's very uncomfortable.
DS4s used to be on sale 1-2 times every year for 40 USD / 40 EUR but that was before 2020. Dualsense was 50-60 EUR few times already.
