I love Dunkey, but this is a shitty portrait of what the game actually is.

This isn't a review of the game, just a comedy video poking fun at its quirks, like most of his videos.

Only his actual reviews are reflective of his real feelings about a game. His other videos are just him fucking around in entertaining ways.

A game being free doesn't make it any better. My feeling is that people try a free game, and because it's not awful they think it's really cool that they are playing something half decent without paying anything. But if it was a $60 game they would never touch it. Is it a game worth playing then?

For me thats not really much of a high praise, its same way when people said original Ghost of Tsushima was "better Assassin's Creed game" which to me thats means nothing.

You're right, a game being f2p doesn't make it better, many times it makes it worse, but we live in an age where high quality paid games fail all the time, which is why f2p exists. Most gamers are cheap, or broke, and this gets people to try games they normally wouldn't. I'd personally pay retail for it, it's easily one of the top 5 games I've played this year, probably top 3.

I dont know what type of games you been playing but I played many "paid" games and most of them fucking good.

I never felt I lack any great games that I need settle down with F2P gacha game.

Videogamedunkey is easily one of my favourite youtubers. I always watch his and Kyle Bosman's stuff. I also love his voice which is completely unique to him. When it comes to humour I think he's actually understated and genuinely funny.

He has one of the best ears for musicality and truly appreciates whenever a game does something interesting with their sound. I hope he keeps doing vids for a very long time.

The English dub is terrible and has that hokey anime cringe that a lot of western dubs get. I don't know a lick of Chinese but just the tone of their voices alone fits the setting much better. The only problem is the subs are super fast so if you aren't a quick reader you're going to miss some stuff. It's definitely something they need to work on.
