hell yes. honestly, it has never been a better time to be a godzilla fan. hell, i'm putting money on a criterion version of the original gozilla since ralto seems to have a strong relationship with them.

Is the Tom & Jerry set just the old skool episodes from the 40's? The cover pic looks like those horrible T&J kids from the 90's.

And why would anyone WILLINGLY buy Van Helsing? I've been witness to some bad movies (my wife dragged me to Catwoman), but that was one of the WORST movies I have ever seen. It was just complete shit.

Is there word anywhere on how different the Director's Cut is? My impression on seeing the movie in the theater was that it was decent, but sorely needed a recut.

13 mintues of new footage and I guess some scenes were recut to make a bit more flow to the movie.

I know Del Toro said alot of things were changed by the studio before release.

No, not so much the studio, GDT really wanted to bring it in under 2 hours. He mainly cut away from minor character development, ie a little sub-plot between Rasputin/Ilsa & them retieving the door sent by the Ogdru-Jahad in Moscow & the Liz/Myers taxi scene.
