Dynasty Warriors Origins Nintendo Switch 2 vs PS5 Graphics Comparison

Very fun game, but its sad to see a new console only run the game on low vs a 6 year old console. The game itself even on ps5 doesn't look great, sure theres a lot going on... but the Switch 2 just came out.. The nintendo comments on that video are hilarious.

A portable console being weaker than home consoles released years earlier is hardly shocking. Very similar to PS Vita releasing in Dec 2011 being weaker than PS3 that released in Dec 2006.

Fun game. I can recommend it

Man, I wanted to get it since it came out but...that Tecmo Koei 80 Eurodollars price tag...I just can't.
The lowest I've seen it drop is down to 60 and that's after 1 whole year.

Friggin' Koei Tecmo game prices have always been a joke

you could almost make a fanboy argument for that price, if the game was on the cartridge

...but it's a keycard 😡

Nobody learns their lessons about the Switch 2, it seems. Remember all the bluster about Outlaws before it became a 3rd party showcase for the system? Us graybeards recall that dust-up lo these many 6 months ago. Long lost are those lessons on the ether of tiiiiiiimee...

I'm not even talking about the Switch 2 version man since on PS5/XSX the physical version still goes for 80 Eurodollars - and now there's also a 30+ Eurodollars DLC ? GTFO Koei Tecmo...

I'll wait for the inevitable bundled game+DLC or "Extreme" version.

As for the NS2 version being a key card...that's a bummer I suppose

Man Ubisoft put in the work for Outlaws on switch 2. Heard Shadows was also a pretty good port.

The port looks good; this game is interesting to play on the Switch because of its hybrid aspect. In other Warriors games, I enjoyed doing some missions in short sessions playing in handheld mode.

Its been 6 years, not just a few. And the price of the Switch 2 matters, its more expensive than a ps5 now.

o.0 I'm in the usa but got it months ago new for $20 can't believe its still so much there.

Basically what you expect from a ps5 to ps4 port. a better fps test shows this game runs from 33-50fps on switch 2

Mean while ps5 is 80-120fps with much better graphics

I don't know what region you're in, but in the US, the base price of the Switch 2 is $50 less than the base price of the PS5 digital edition and $100 less than the standard PS5.
ps5 was cheaper for the holidays., and still is as we speak. not to mention it was cheaper the 95% of the 5 years it was on the market. with switch 2 you need a express card and pro controller to get a full functional system so its actually way more expensive then ps5.

Damn, I didn't know it had a non-functional system because it didn't have an SD Express card or a pro controller. As for power, there is no chip capable of delivering the performance of a PS5 in the size of a Switch 2. The closest thing is the GPD Win 5, which has the latest technology on the market and not only needs a giant external battery to work, but also costs $1,899.

Well if we are being honest these things are must buy on switch 2, 256gb of storage is enough for 2-3 games so a sd express card is a must and the joy con controller is a pos of crap. These 2 things are essential to get a quality experience with your switch 2.

not to mention you can't expect me to play a videogame on a non oled, so you can add the cost of an oled television set

plus you'll need somewhere to put your tv, like a house or apartment

That's not true at all…

Impressive port for real, didn't expected to looks and perform that good considering how close it looks to the PS5 version.

Third parties will do wonders with Switch 2 hardware in future.

Nvidia magic. Is amazing how close a 10-20 watts system can be to a 200 watts system, at least for the final results, and when the devs have more experience with the hardware is going to get better.
I'm confused as to what you are looking at cause 1:12 pause the video and the IQ difference is massive, while running at 40-50fps ahead on the switch 2 version.

Obvious is going to be differences, is a 10-20 watts system vs a 200 watts system. Still the final results look close.
I don't think the results are close at all. One has huge difference in textures, and IQ plus better lighting, and it runs vastly better. I mean if you ignore all those things you can say ps4 gives close results to ps5, in reality it does not.

For a portable device with the size of a dvd case… It's. You are missing the whole point.

That doesn't the fact that results are not close. There are games that do a better job of getting close visually at least, this is not one of them cause the down grade to IQ/textures is pretty huge, along with the massive fps down grade.

What a silly comment

Do you need a 1TB ssd and dual sense edge to get a quality experience on ps5?

What you get out of the box for a ps5 or switch 2 is fine for many people but not for everyone which is why other things are sold separately

No gamer that uses the joycon controller thinks its good, its a low quality crap controller, and no 256gb is not enough storage for modern gaming in 2025, unless you only wanna have 2 game installed on your console. these are not small issues, they are basically forced upon to get a descent experience with hardware. ps4 from 2013 had 500gb of storage, from 2013. this would not be a big issue but they chose the most expensive storage for some reason.
