Can someone just explain to me quickly why I should opt for Fantasy Life over Animal Crossing or Tomodachi Life? I suddenly want it but I don't know why. I guess the main difference is that it's more vocation-based?

Kind of reminds me of Little King's Story with the professions and utilising them out in the world.

Fantasy Life has RPG elements. Animal Crossing is life sim plus collection tasks plus town management. Tomodachi Life is a crazy sim...in a fun way lol.

Imagine Animal Crossing RPG with crafting and multiple jobs that you can change anytime, multi too.

Super excited to see Affordable Space Adventures demoed. When it was revealed it sounded like it made great use of the Gamerpad.

letting dev's talk about and play their games for us like this is so fucking great. I have posted like 20 times about it but this Treehouse is so so so awesome.

Animal Crossing is where you play as a mayor of a town. You are confined to that town and the fun comes form the daily interactions of your fellow villagers. Tomadachi Life is where you give Miis personalities and throw them all in an island. You don't have any control over the Miis and the fun is seeing how they interact with each other.

Fantasy Life lets you play as multiple different classes where the fun is exploring the world where each class has something special to do.

Waittttttt a second... don't tell me Fantasy Life is that old canceled Xbox MMO "True Fantasy" (Level-5) brought back to life. That would be nuts. lol

Wanted to play Fantasy Life for a long time and had accepted it was never going to be released in North America. Glad I was wrong. :)

Fantastic idea yea. Wouldn't be surprised to see it copied next E3 lol. It's especially great for the smaller devs/indies who don't normally get such a big platform to show off their wares.

It's not too often indies get to demo their games for an extended period of time to damn near 50k viewers. I love Ninties outreach to indies. It's symbiotic in that it fills the gap somewhat that 3rd parties aren't filling in the release schedule and indies get more exposure in a less cluttered ecosystem.

Real talk, I wouldn't have given this game the time of day, but seeing them go in depth with this makes me want to play it lol.

I'm loving this!
