They must surely be concentrating on Nx.
I previously thought than Nx was surely a handheld but with the complete lack of Wii U games I'm not so sure now.

Nintendo had stuff to show but people are just mad because *gasp* they showed stuff coming out this year. People are pissed because they didn't pull something out of their ass and padded out the year with smaller titles for this year and would rather they just throw out bombs for hype sake? I mean if you look at all the press conferences what are we actually getting this year? Thats what matters to me. But if people would rather fantasize over ff7 then play games coming out this year let them.

Seriously people. I'm disappointed they didn't have anything new that was significant either but not surprised. Their biggest projects had already been announced so anything else would most likely be filler this year. But the only thing embarrassing about the direct was the melodramatic slice-my-wrists-drama queening in this thread. Hoooly sheeiit.

The Metroid thing though. Yeah, I've been saying for a while now that Nintendo does not know what to do with that franchise and it's starting to hurt.

The wiiu is just dead and it makes sense to shift major resources to the nx and put out smaller stuff until then.

As much as I hated to, that is kind of why I sold my (second) Wii U. I adore the little system, but it's clear that they will be moving on shortly. Excited to see what is next with NX.

I kind of don't care what their next system is, because they burned me so bad with this event, and with the wiiu over all. I guess i still have mario kart, the first mario, and donkey kong. But thanks Nintendo, you savd me money overall which I can spend on PS4 / Xbox.

Well, there were way more exclusives I'll end up enjoying here than the other two conferences, but, yeah, news wise this was certainly a disappointment. Wish the teasing and leaks didn't have me expecting Diddy Kong and Retro.

Alright I enjoyed the show. 7/10 conference

Mario Maker looks amazing. Starfox looks promising.

I am also very interested in Hyrule Warriors 3DS and Paper Mario X Mario & Luigi.

Yokai Watch and that new 3ds Zelda game look cool but I'm gonna need to see more to be 'sold'.

SMT x Fire Emblem looks intriguing ... but I had no idea what was going on in there.

Fire Emblem Fates is a definite buy.

Yoshi's Wooly World looks good and it's coming out very soon.

Mario Tennis on Wii U ... ok I guess, hopefully better than the 3DS version I hope.

The only thing that disappointed me was lack of Retro and I'm not sure how to feel about the new Metroid.

Anyway, onwards to the Treehouse.
