I hate to bring up crap like this and add to the messages, but hopefully it's an idea with legs and maybe the administration can run with it.
What I'd like to see is posters here subscribing to just a couple of behaviors for the insanity that is E3:
1) Simple thread titles: Explicitly spell out what your thread is about. With 6000000 threads popping up, it helps.
2) Flip through the first three pages (or four or five) to guard against duplication. With 6000000 threads popping up, it helps.
I was here last night after work (early a.m.) and popped in earlier this afternoon and everything (i.e: threads I'd posted in and seen on page 1) was about five or six pages back. That's fine, but a lot of the threads were the same damn thing over and over. Not being here 24 hours a day makes finding stuff a bit of a challenge with stuff like control panels (thread subscriptions) and the search function not in effect.
Anyhow, that's my rant. Sorry to add to the pile. Mods, feel free to lock, delete or let sit as you see fit.
