Ugh...are there seriously people who didn't know this? It's like saying "WE'RE HAVING GAMES TO DEMO" over and over was still confusing to some people simply because they're not having a press conference

Just seems like they don't want to compete financially with the HYPE-SPLOSION that Sony And MS are sure to bring to their conferences.
It's just Nintendo continuing down a path in the works for a few years now. Really, how different is a Nintendo Direct from their usual E3 conferences anyway? Outside of charts and graphs.

For the last time, E3 is not just conferences. It's a 3 day show where there's 2 show floors and hundreds of meeting rooms. The conferences aren't even truly a part of E3.
It's not Nintendo's fault if people can't read. Seriously.

they can accomplish everything they need to with demos, videos, and just overall nintendo direct style announcement stuff. They don't need to be up their own ass with Usher or Cirque Du Soleil shit.
How can you communicate to people who refuse to read? Would you like to see Nintendo personally going over these things with people over the phone or something?

If people are confused enough that they have to further clarify, then it wasn't communicated well enough.

I think sometimes the headline is all people process. It happens time to time. But yeah they were very clear that they would be there, but not likely with the big conference.
