Yeah, they've got shots of a snowy Mile High, one of Vick, a close up of Ray Lewis, and one of Clinton Portis running.

Are all 6 of these games going to be playable.

I want NFS:MW and TW 2006.

Only six courses for TW is pretty weak though. :(

They did that like on the 1st version of TW for the PS2 also.

The screens look good. Above this gen but not close to the target stuff IMO.

They probably should have never shown "target" renders, at least not around here anyways. :lol

The Madden 360 "fact sheet":

Revolutionary player models: 3D head scans provide photo-realistic faces and a level of detail that shows the emotion and intensity of the NFL like never seen before.

Next Gen graphical effects: From the reactions of coaches and players on the sidelines to the seat-level accuracy of thousands of lifelike 3D fans, the new graphics engine provides realistic lighting and visual effects that have never been possible before now.

High level of animation: Three times the amount of animations in current generation, so the action starts before kickoff and continues with every touchdown celebration.
Redefined gameplay: Select plays in a whole new way with the innovative playcalling and new picture-in-picture system. Popular features like QB Vision Control, Truck Stick and the Hit Stick are included.

New Audio Presentation: Listen to the sounds of your game with a biased hometown radio announcer who calls the plays with emotion and hear actual NFL on-field audio from NFL Films, including hits and player chatter that bring the game to life.

Sights of the NFL: Injury reports are featured on the scoreboard, as you would see in the real NFL stadiums on gameday.

Advanced Franchise mode: the game mode invented by Madden NFL Football comes to the Xbox 360 with new, easy-to-use Player, Team, and Box Score Cards that give you all the information for your team at the click of a button. Track and break NFL records in multiple categories on the way to Hall of Fame.

Online play**: Play anytime with Xbox Live and see how you stack up again the best players in the nation with real-time leaderboards.

Extensive customization options: Customize settings, menu music playlists, gameplay controls and strategies. .

The character lighting is ok, but the stadium looks so so, the pitch looks awful and shadows fail to impress either.

That Clinton Portis pic is def the best of the bunch.

*Didnt know Roy Williams was white* ......

FIFA is ugly.
NFS is ugly.
BF2 is a PC game.
Madden is passable.

I know what company will not be getting my launch day dollars.

You know you'll have to rent some of these games just to see the (barely) best looking games in these genres ever. (except for NFS, which looks pathetic next to PGR3)

wtf EA is loaded with cash... they can't get better designers than this? jesus. BF2 looks like a freakin xbox game.

It begins, and it's not bad. That's all I can say. It isn't bad.

OK, I have another thing to say about this thing: the player in jersey number 4 looks a good bit like a shiny, soccer-playing Emperior Palpatine with dreads. Or it's just me. Either way, something about that player model doesn't look all that right to me.

typical overreacting GAF crowd... wait for video clips and hands-on impressions before bashing EA like crazy.

NFS will probably get 8's from reviewers and still sella buttload because of EA's marketing push. Madden will sell a buttload and be very solid. Graphically, it will impress. Are they pushing the envelope on Xbox 360?? Probably not by a whole lot at launch, but they'll still have some good games out there that will sell like crazy.

Wow if it sells I guess that means they are good games!

Not impressed. And I seriously doubt that EA will fix the animation, at least not this year. Maybe next year when there is some competition, and more than one system to make money from...

Half-assed effort as usual.

It's fair to call most of the shots ugly (they are), but dismissing them as current gen quality is pushing it.

Obviously the sports titles are beyond what current gen can do... but those battlefield 2 shots are laughable at BEST.

Most of the stuff doesn't look bad, but it doesn't look like a huge jump to next gen either. Madden looks both good, and blah at the same time. The Stadiums look nice, and the faces are better, but player models seem a bit off. Too squat and fat, imo. Madden will have to get some great previews for me to keep it on my launch list. Otherwise, I'll just get my fill of the Xbox version.

Tiger Woods 06 was on the list as well, but with only 6 courses, I'll pass and wait for the next version. Battlefield looks ok, but when compared to Ghost Recon, it doesn't look that impressive. NFS looks decent, as long as you ignore PGR.

Can't wait to see a full list of launch titles though.

The bar has been set for several genres next gen. You don't have to get to that bar but falling really short from it isn't going to sit well with alot of people. It's not an overreaction, its people having an idea of what they think next gen should look like and not settling for anything less.

Are you serious? It only has six courses?!

Yup! See the details about TW 06 in the first post above.

Those pics are kinda disappointing. Doesn't look much better than Xbox 1, at least at first glance, anyway...

STFU

Sometimes I think you people won't be happy until they fur-shade Ray Lewis' nutsack.

This kicks the ASS of Xbox Madden, and if you say otherwise you're blind.

By Xbox 360, in every genre (as that's the only place GAMES have been on display). The only big exception (until Midway makes Blitz 360) is football, which Madden has free reign over--not that I mind, it looks beautiful. :D
