This english word, coming from latin ex and rudis, can be used to describe people who know a lot, like Jeopardy Champions.

Good god, 2 out of 3 of those contestants MISSED it. I'm FRENCH and I knew it.

Did they really say "rudits" b/c that gives it away even more?

Maybe the problem is that it was too easy, and they second guess themselves thinking that it couldn't possibly be the most obvious answer.
 
Yeah, they prolly said rudis, I don't remember. I'll edit it. With either one, I mean, come on. Join the freakin words. CONNECT THE DOTS. WIN THOUSANDS. YAY.
