Isn't that the standard turn around for EZA reviews/discussions?
For real though. Maybe year 2 can be focused on you guys improving your production pipeline/scheduling?
I was not to super hot on Persona 4 overall, but the music, man.... Stuff like that and e.g. the OST for The World Ends With You just keeps me at it at all times. Music can be so incredibly important and key to the experience.Just listening to Persona 3/4/Q/Arena soundtracks today all day. I just can't wait for 5.
I don't blame you for being upset at Atlus' inability to create a waifu as multifacted and captivating as Tetsuna or Sosume
Persona 5 will be delayed indefinitely as penance for your shameful display of nonbelief in Bosman's cause to defeat the Woz
Wtf are you talking about dude? Jesus.

Huber and Brad with the wrasslin talk, excellent
(not that Mania is anything to get hyped on, but it's fun to pretend)
51 minutes of stuff I need to watch after work
Pros- 1 hour of talking about Horizon Zero Dawn spoiler talk
Cons- sound is absolutely FUCKED
Sounds ok here just scanning about, but I'm on phone speakers so who knows.
Really? Because it's really bad for me. Extremely low, plus some garbled noise on top.

Just fired the intro to my TV and yeah, it's pretty bad. Sounds like they're using tins and string.
That's what my phone speakers sound like anyway so it just sounded like my phone at first!
EDIT: Update from Kyle: UPDATE: Fixing a weird audio issue that made the video sound bad on phones
Yeah, I've just heard weird issues on other videos too, but not all of them on my Android TV YouTube app. Not just EZA ones. Might be using a new audio encoder or something on YTs end that doesn't play nice with some mixes.
I made a post about this the other day. I think EZA would benefit greatly by having someone work a mixer while they're recording. Also, adding some sound-absorbing panels around the garage would help.
Its not on their end. This time at least.
Finally caught up to TTE again.
Oh man, you are crushing me Blood! I've been waiting patiently for so long, Ben and Huber have kept me so positive. I guess I just need to let go and wait for the Witcher retrospective before Cyberpunk release!
The latest Huber Syndrome sounds a bit off to me as well.
[edit] And the clipping on the current set of TTE.
Oh, I was talking specifically this Spoiler Mode.
As far as I understand, Huber took Huber Syndrome down for the same reason.
I haven't seen Spoiler Mode as I still want to play Horizon, but I have seen Huber Syndrome via patreon and it was fine for me as well.
That said, when I started it on my home computer remotely to get the link (as I don't want to log into patreon at work), it did sound very strange. Very thin sounding, like it came out some sodacans.
But as the soundquality over remote connection usually stinks and I never watch anything like that, I didn't really think something was off.
Superhero game with Ian's dad. Perfection.
Allies I need advice regarding Persona 5
These are really long games but seem designed to need 2 playthroughs to see everything content wise and to get the best ending without a guide. When I played Persona 3 back in the day I used a spoiler free guide that helped get all max links and good ending on the first playthrough. It was still a 100 hour game but I got the most out of it.
Now Persona 5 is rolling in, there's a spoiler free guide and I'm wondering if I use it again. There's too many other games out there for me to do 2 playthroughs and I don't want to spend 100 hours to then not get the true ending. But the guide will rob some of the "free" choice of the game.
Firstly, loved the structure. It definitely should not be freestyle, it needs to be sectioned (especially when it comes to big games). I believe the structure Kyle gave this show produced the best insight/critique from the panel.
I know you shouldn't rate critique on whether you agree with the opinions but this Spoiler Mode was very satisfying for me as I feel some of the issues I had with the game were discussed and not drowned beneath the hyperbole that has surrounded some aspects.
Definitely agree with the following...
-The hardest battle is the two rock-burrower machines in the Corrupted Zone that Jones mentions and makes the final boss battle seem a little anti-climactic. Especially as we know Guerilla is capable of very good boss battles.
-Huber nails how the game handles the timing of the lore-dumps very badly as you are swamped with things to read/listen to whilst you're expected to listen to character VA AND play the game on top of that. Glad that was mentioned 'cause I haven't seen it criticised anywhere.
-Side charcters have absolutely no character and you don't care about their problems and in my opinion, were gatekeeping me feeling fully absorbed in the world.
But yeah, combat is the best thing about the game and I'm very optimistic about where the franchise could head. I think what Huber said about this possibly being the Uncharted 1 of the series is quite level-headed.
Just a really realistic take on the game in this show. They praised the game for what it does well and hung it up when certain things aren't quite as impressive as they should be. I really hope if there are Spoiler Modes on Witcher 3, Persona 5 and other critically-acclaimed games, they take the same approach! Excellent!
Is the fixed spoiler mode even up on Youtube? I've been checking periodically but I still haven't been able to watch it yet. They put it up but pulled it down to fix an encoding issue I think.
Added by Kyle: The video should be back up in around 2.5 hours -____-
