You still have to pay FF:CC for $30, you only get $15 credit on another purchase from EB. I wish they were real rebates at least

"Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne = $9.99"

Great game for that price especially. I paid $40 for it on sale when it first released and loved it.

Beware of Max Payne on PS2.

$9.99 for Tenchu sounds like a pretty good deal. Does it still have an active Xbox Live community?

I don't think there ever was an active Xbox Live community for Tenchu.

Thanks for posting the deals, Calista Moonchild. My brother's primarily a sports gamer and is looking to get rid of some old sports games. The $10 bonus thingy is probably the best he'll be able to do.

w00t! Just what I wanted to see.

And yeah, Tenchu on XBL fucking sucks ass.

Too bad the shitty mail-in rebate won't go through until RE4 has been out for weeks and it's already gone on sale at places like Best Buy and Target.

EB rebates are only good if you like Nintendo games, since they rarely get marked down or go on sale....at any retailer.

What's wrong with Tenchu XBL?
First off, there's the issue of actually finding someone to play against. I only got past that obstacle twice - once for Versus, once for a mission. Looking back to my writings, it seems I found that Versus "fails to make the dull combat any more enjoyable," while campaign was somewhat decent. But if I had problems finding people online a few weeks after release, imagine what the "community" has since become.

How does this mail in Gift Voucher work?

I'd pick up FF:CC tomorrow for $30 if I can get $15 off RE4 in store in two weeks.

holy crap $60 for a used gamecube??

hmmmmm
Considering that for most of the last year+ for $20-40 more you could get one new with a game and possibly second controller included, that doesn't seem a deal worth a "holy crap".

EB Rebates are pretty quick, but you won't get it by the time RE4 releases. Usually takes 3-4 weeks, IIRC.

Pre-played GameCube system = $59.99 (regularly $69.99)

EB must have too many GC trade-ins... When does Dec NPD come out? :)

Vendetta Online is a great space combat MMO... $10 off should put it at $20...

or if you want it for free (with monthly subscription) you can download it at www.vendetta-online.com. subscription is only $10/month. free trial (completely free) to boot.

Does the special trade in for $25 off those four games. Does it have exclusions or no? And why didnt EB put up their store flyer? They usually do that for sales. Just want to know before i go way out of my way today.

Yes, certain titles are excluded. Also, game boxes and instructions are required. Bring your potential games and have them scanned to see if they qualify.
