I'm definitely gonna check this out later. Ed Boon has been one of my favorite devs ever since a random interaction I had with him at E3 (or PAX maybe?). Mortal Kombat 9 was being showcased, and I sat around the booth intensely watching the game (I had already played for a few minutes the day prior, but not enough to really get a feel for how different it was.)
I stood around for a while, when I saw Ed Boon a few feet beside me, doing the same thing. Just watching people play the game. I looked over to him and said "hey, Ed Boon, right?" He walked over, we shook hands, and then we just chatted for about 20 minutes. The game journalist in me couldn't help but ask him a few random historical questions, but eventually after the novelty of talking to Ed Boon wore off, he ended up just asking me a ton of questions about me, how I liked the game, and we got into weird little stories about my first interaction with Mortal Kombat, and how my mom bought me MK3 without telling my dad. Lol, silly stuff like that.
He was just really outgoing and fun to talk to.
