Also, Lana is performing at the iTunes Festival today in less than 4 hours. I hope I'm able to watch.

I'm still surprised that people buy into this. Her management and marketing have done a damn fine job, that's for sure.

O...k? Her songs are great, thats why I'm into her.I haven't seen a sliver of marketing or...managing.

I think like with any "pop star" people realize her image is largely manufactured. What irritated me initially is the fact that she/they tried to cover it up.

At the end of the day, she makes pretty decent music.

Of course we buy into it, she is a great artist. 90% of pop stars are manufactured. still atleast she writes her OWN songs unlike other pop stars you see mainstream.

Drinking a Pepsi now and thinking of Lana

Same deal as with Gaga. I the music is good, people don't care where the image comes from.

You have the right to remain PRESSED

Did she? I mean I've only seen her denying her lip injections (which is pretty damn silly considering the amount of evidence on the web) but aside from that I don't think she has. She was going to re-release her Lizzy Grant album (she bought the rights back) and even included Yayo (a song of her No Kung Fu mixtape) in this one.

Ride is excellent. "I'm tired of feeling like I'm fucking crazy."

Rick Rubin's production is on point too. I played it for my wife last night and now she's obsessed with Lana again. She said, "It's like she was born in Twin Peaks."

Lana had a BBC Radio 1 interview:
-The video for Ride is 10 minutes long :O
-Lana is a vegetarian.
Here is part of the interview.

Ride and Burning Desire are still not available in the US, and I really want that collector's edition.

She always sounds so grateful, sweet and humble. Queen. Also, lol @ the interviewer gifting her Jessie Ware's album.

Also, Lana's performance is in 18 minutes

While I loved Born To Die and am super-excited for this, I'm really going to need HQ leaks or commercially available editions of "Damn You" and "Fake Diamonds" now, Lizzy.

This is like Lanukah. I'm ready to be SLAYED by another iconic performance hopefully.

Paradise sounds good. I like the beat.

She is just blessing us with so many things.

The set looks like the background of the Paradise cover :0
I wonder if we'll get to hear her new songs in full.

Blue Jeans is one of my favorite videos ever. I can put this album on and every chick I've hung out with totally digs it(sets the mood right everytime, haha). A buddy of mine(hipster-esque) went on a rant on how thats not even her real name and she looked totally different back in the day......I proceeded to tell him yeah....just like every other goddamn music artist around? Not very many actually use their real names and real personas. So so what, if the music is good, then who the hell cares. Haters gonna hate.....

Walt Whitman, I Sing the Body Electric:
I SING the Body electric;
The armies of those I love engirth me, and I engirth them;
They will not let me off till I go with them, respond to them,
And discorrupt them, and charge them full with the charge of the Soul.

Was it doubted that those who corrupt their own bodies conceal themselves;
And if those who defile the living are as bad as they who defile the dead?
And if the body does not do as much as the Soul?
And if the body were not the Soul, what is the Soul?

The love of the Body of man or woman balks account—the body itself balks account;
That of the male is perfect, and that of the female is perfect.

Lana del Ray - Body Electric
Elvis is my daddy, Marilyn’s my mother,
Jesus is my bestest friend.
I don’t need nobody, ‘cause we got each other,
Or at least I pretend.
We get down every Friday night,
Dancin’ and grindin’ in the pale moonlight.
Grand old opre, feelin’ alright,
She prays the rosary for my broken mind.
I sing the body electric,
I sing the body electric, baby.
I sing the body electric,
Sing the body electric,
Sing the body electric.
I’m on fire, baby, I’m on fire.

Ayup.
