...so all you elliott smith fans: there has been a recent release of the "Jackpot Sessions," i think recordings he did during the XO-era. they are either lyrical changes, stripped down versions, or just diff. takes. if you are good at googling, you'll be able to find them no problem. i love the tracks where elliott does guitar and mary lou lord does vocals. it's nice to hear a female voice for elliott's lyrics.

AND...it is GREAT news that his new album is complete and will be released in october. i *might* be able to do a review for you guys next week, if all goes according to plan.
