I got this email from "EBay," not sure if its real, I signed in by manually going to ebay.com, but couldnt find anything relating to this. Is it a spoof?

Ebay, your bank, your credit card company, etc. is about as likely to send you email as President Bush.

NO ONE send official notices via email.

So this email I got from President Bush about this all natural penis enhancement is fake...
 
If you go to "My Ebay" in Ebay it will show you exactly what e-mails have been sent to you by Ebay in the My Messages Inbox. Anything else is bogus.
 
am i the only one who responds "fuck you and your mother" to those phishing emails? i guess some are pointed back to ebay because one time i got a response from customer service with something like "oh...well i guess you got a fraudulant scam email...please report these to fraud@ebay.com" or some crap :lol

Well most of the time, they'll come with an "EBay.com" address, even if the host the email originated from is hotnigerianmoneylaundering.biz

... so chances are if you've been replying to phishing emails, you're actually contacting fake email addresses or genuine addresses that aren't actually where the mail was sent from.
 
I know for a fact that paypal will ADDRESS you by your name (real name from account) when they email you. All scam emails will say "Dear PayPal User," or "Dear Customer".

Seeing as eBay also own paypal, I'm pretty sure eBay uses this technique as well.
