I assumed that the shop belonged to her father given the shrine and how they other barbers referred to him.

He's come full circle, so I suspect he doesn't have any more growth as a character and will be killed off at the end of the season.
Dre's character path has me mad. Felt like I could have related as the oldest child in a family expected to do well and deal with the fallout of the other two. Story of personal growth and finding an identity and all BUT NAH.
