"worst" ending first where humanity becomes monsters. By comparison, the other ending is pretty damn happy. Of course the best ending is still the one that's basically a game over.

Anyway, I might start chaos;head too if everyone else is even if I already saw the anime. Would like to see some more reactions to Saya no Uta though.

I don't think I've ever once read a VN sex scene and ideally I use fan patches to remove them if possible. Really, they're a blight on the genre and a big reason why they're not looked at.

You'll pretty much be limited to games that run in Nscripter for that since they have an executable for OS X. Otherwise you'll have to use parallels or Bootcamp for everything else.

If there's one thing that the internet has taught me, it's that people are into some fucked up shit. And I'm sure in the grand scale of things, Saya falls on the tamer end of the spectrum seeing how there's fuckin' weirdos out there jerkin' it to guro and shit. In the case of Saya, it had to be there since the story depended on that aspect. In any other case though, I personally don't get it, just watch porn if you're feeling frisky. It's got way more frames of animation haha

It is a genuinely fantastic game from top to bottom, but how much are they asking for it in your neck of the woods?

Plus the writing quality of it didn't seem to be that great anyway, to much exposition that seemed to drag for hours. I did like the characters and found some of the plot to be fairly interesting though. 999 + Saya no uta seemed to have gotten me interested in the genre compared to F/S/N & Umineko.

I blame that on a limp first arc. Never understood the love for Saber and quite possibly the douchiest version of the douchiest main lead ever.
