The more I watch of this season, the more I'm pissed off that this series was cancelled and the more I hope Berman and Bragga have no success with any other show till the end of time. With Manny at the helm I wonder where this show would be today :(

I heard there is a movement to save the series and move it to sci gi

Never happen. It'd be nice if it did so SciFi had a light series to take over for SG-1 when they finally end that, but Paramount won't give up their biggest franchise to Universal.

Damn that was some fine Trek. I almost wish it was more mediocre, because I don't want to be upset that it's getting canceled. Why can't this be the first season?

Section 31?

Berman should fuck off and not touch the finale. Go! Begone!

But it wouldn't surprise me if they got Berman and Bragga to think up the next trek.. :(

Give it to JMS. Keep it simple. Year long arcs. New Enterprise. New Captain. Set around 50....100 years after The Next Gen.

What a trip to see 60s Klingons 35 years later (or 100+ years earlier... whatever). And who among us doesn't love Philip Banks as a Klingon?

Here's an idea for bringing back the temporal cold war plot: we can get Daniels to take us back and stop most of the first and second season episodes from being made. That way the episodes we're seeing now would be happening early on in the 3rd season rather than the middle of the 4th, with more of a remaining audience left to salvage.

I dunno. I liked the prequel/early years. So much stuff to go through in the old universe before the uber amazing technologies that would exist after the Next Generation. THAT is where some temporal cold war foolishness would at least make sense.

Like it shouldn't have been hard to write this series...

Klingon War
Romulan War
Federation founding
First contact
New weapons
Using transporters for people
Prime directive
Shields!
etc...

Like honestly, wtf
