I remember playing this game. I don't play MMORPG's so it was fine and fun to me and fairly addicting. I didn't really care about the graphics and blah blah blah that people bitched about. It was fine for a MMORPG noob like me.

I remember me and this other guy was somewhere in the desert teaming up for a quest, and we couldn't find a way back to our home. We sat there and tried for like 30 mins and finally I said..I guess we'll have to swim. So we had to tread through this really high level place that we would've been owned in if we were seen. We made it to the ocean and had to swim for like 35 minutes all the while seeing new places and weird monuments while it was changing from day to night, raining etc.

One of the best gaming memories I have of the past generation.

Still quite amazing that you are able to run a mmorpg with only 3mb of patch-storage(though, that may have increased since I last played it). It got 8.0 at IGN and 7.2 at Gamespot when it was released. Not to mention, the game doesn't have loading ingame at all. Not even when entering a dungeon(though it loads if you teleport).

I had a ton of fun exploring the early dungeons in this game with a group. I never leveled past 20-25 but I enjoyed it immensly.

Okay. Im playing on Diren Hold.
I have two chars: 'Wollan' lvl 11 Halfling-Rogue and 'Coldmana' lvl 1 Human-Magician(just rolled).
