ER Special Event on Thursday

I can't wait. Who are the other 4 people that watch this show? My favorite ER disaster was the train wreck episode. The robocop villain red-haired doctor getting his arm lopped off and then later having a helicopter fall on him was a bit much.

ER rocks!

Yup I'll be watching, and it looks like Michael is coming back from Iraq in this episode from the hint in the preview.

If Neela dies then it'll suck. I hope they keep her on. Oh and Abby+Luka 4eva. And it's never right in front of the ER, only one disaster was like that, cynical idot.

I can't stand Velma's character. Indecisive idiot. Bad writing. And they changed her son's actor into one of those kids you'd wish ended up on a milk carton.

I still love this show...

Cant wait for THE CRASH...

To this day my favorite sweeps episode was "The Blizzard" from back in Season 1 or 2. That was such a great episode.

For me ER has become some kind of drug. I know it´s mostly crap, but I can´t help take my weekly episode. But this season, ever without Noah Wyle, is much better than the two previous. The new characters are truly good. Not the classic ER of the first 6 seasons, but it´s getting better.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE ER.

I've had surges of watching it here and there since 7 or so years ago.

I'll watch for a couple of months, not watch for months, catch a few episodes, not watch for a couple of years, then watch for 3 months, etc...

hopefully someday I'll get all the episodes and watch them from the beginning.

These are awesome, awesome shows and it amazes the attention to detail that goes into this.

Highly underrated because the cast isn't as high-profile as it used to be and because it's lost viewership after the departure of Friends and Seinfeld.

Nyet!

one of the best ER's was when Carter had to take over the ER (before he really took over). taking lots of risks.

And of course, when he was stabbed, one of the best tv show endings i have ever seen.

I have stopped watching from mid season11 onwards due to retarded stories and arcs. Has it found its way back?

I was afraid when I saw the season opening, because it was an average episode, but season 12 is getting better and better. There was a rumor about some big classic character coming back maybe for a few episodes, and it´s not Carter (he already signed for four episodes in season 12 and 13).

Well, if Clooney was coming back for one or two episodes, he should be coming back with Julianna Margullies. But I wish it was Eriq laSalle, his Benton character was one the best "bastards with heart" I´ve seen on TV. Well, there are other characters, but they´re all dead, lazy writers...

not for nothing, but ER missed the boat with Clooney. If you were going to have him come back for like one or two episodes, it should have been when Mark Greene died. They were like best friends.

Honestly who is a big star that could come back? Anyone from the original cast doesnt know any of the doctors there now, so how would they make that work....

I could see if Dr. Lewis was still on the show, but she up and left AGAIN!!

Yeah what was up with that. Did the original kid ask for too much money?

The best episode of ER was the Clooney episode with the kid and the car wreck from season one or two. The first few seasons of ER were just amazing.

Anthony Edwards could have his character rise from the grave again, I suppose. Although it was hard to watch him act after the episode where his face gets knocked through the ceramic of a toilet bowl.

Seriously though, when the show started, some thread in the telling was Carter's rise through the ranks. Losing their big three characters was bad enough, but once they forgot about Carter's rise and gave him a personal life issue of the week, the show really jumped the shark. (although helicopter crash landings is arguably more eye opening than that)

Serena Williams is such and idiot or whichever of the two that is. If Neela dies... which I doubt she will, but she better not. Damned spoiler of a commercial.

I don't like this show anymore. I was a huge fan of this show way back but now, all the stuff that's going on in the hospital is just too ridiculous.
