I happy to say that I fight for the American peanut industry's cause every day.
Haha, amazing.

What are you talking about? Peanut butter is one of the healthiest things to put on bread, it's filled with carbs and proteïns.
I work out a lot, peanut butter is a great supplement. For me, at least.
Do we know why jam is called 'jelly' in America?
I shared a peanut butter cookie (the kind with it spread inside the cookie) with a British soldier in Afghanistan and he literally gagged and starting raging. Then he would eat Vegemite on crackers and that tastes like complete garbage to me.
I did get a Welsh guy hooked on Reece's peanut butter cups, so all is not lost.
There is a difference between nuts and nut purée...Peanut butter is a product that always seems marketed to kids, government advice is that you DO NOT EVER give nuts to under 6 year olds
There is also marmalade which is made from citrus juice and contains bits of peel.

Is there a joke in here or are you having difficulty understanding why peanut butter and jam is ok for toddlers and even infants as opposed to things like whole nuts and grapes? No there isnt
Marmalade on toast is good. You can buy it with or without the peel in the UK. I prefer it without.
I like peanut butter. It's something that completely satisfies my sweet-tooth and it's healthy to boot. Then again I mostly eat organic stuff that literally has nothing but compressed peanuts. No added sugar or salt.
I have no idea how someone can spread jam/jelly/jello on a bread though. It's like pouring coke to your morning cereal really.

People don´t feed sweets to their children here. Most parents only feed their kids candy on Fridays when there is Disney fun programs. Meal for kids age 3-6 dark bread (extremely healthy and filled with fibers) butter, and fillings like roast-beef, etc.... and for desert, they have vegetables, fruit bar. Children are not allowed to eat sweets in schools unless there´s a birthday of one of the kids, then everyone eat one small piece of cake.
Tell that to the people who market that type of bread here:
It's pretty funny actually.
http://www.kidswithfoodallergies.org/resourcespre.php?id=108You are missing the point, Do you think the government advice is because of choking or something? No it isn't, its because of the risk of allergic reaction
...I'm beginning to see why y'all think we all just dress in American flags all day, every day and whatnot.
What do you mean? American bikinis are not customary?
peanut butter is interesting, but why should any European buy that overseas import stuff when the dutchlanders make great pindakaas?
Really? I love the peel. To me, there's no point in preserves that don't have a bit of texture to them. Raspberry jam wouldn't be half as wonderful without all those seeds in it.
What is peanut butter.
Flanders here...
We have something called "bakeries" selling these for breakfast:
And these for an afternoon snack (4 pm):

Sorry, Europe, but if you don't accept peanut butter, we're going to take back potatoes.
That's just how it works.
You can have your potatoes, those things aren't needed anyway.
