Yeah, exactly. Whereas every other rep is basically shoving dates or months out for its release. Not saying that those rep images were mocked up, but it didnt give the same result in practise.
 
They aren't going to have a PS4/XBONE version yet, I am sure.

That'll have to be a big, 'Game of the Generation' re-release with all of the DLC. It won't just be a port of the PC Version at some predetermined graphics settings. That'll be much closer to the end of 2014.

Oh cool, maybe I can finally play a GTA game on Win 8.1, since GTA IV refuses to start because #yolo. A PS4 announcement would be much cooler, imo.

no. maybe some 2D indie games but deff not a AAA title.
 
I know it's been said so many times already but PLEASE release a PS4 version, R*!

The only PS3 games I'm dying for a re-release on PS4 are GTA V and TLOU. Frankly, they're the only PS3 games I miss after trading in my system.
 
This game is tailor made for the Share button on the PS4.

I will get both PS4 / PC versions. PC for the modding, PS4 for the enhanced visuals, Sharing, easy streaming, etc. PS4 version should look and run much better then whatever my PC's 6770 can dish out.

Will be interesting to see if they go for 60fps or just keep it at 30fps and make it silky smooth. That alone would be a massive enhancement.
 
I'm not expecting much from a PS4 version. I'd be fine with the exact same game on PS3 except:

720p -> 1080p
25fps -> 60fps

Sure, add in better AA, as well, but unlike most I didn't find the game THAT jaggy. I figure the resolution and fps bump is the LEAST we should expect for a PS4 version, and I'd still double dip with just those enhancements alone.

If they can't fix the horrible pop-in, they shouldn't even bother.
Also the horrible ground textures (though that was more of a problem on 360).

And i wouldn't mind repopulating some of those mountains with some trees like in the pre-release media.

I don't know that the PS4's powerful enough to up the resolution to 1080p and run at 60fps. It'd probably be 30.
 
I'm honestly surprised they didn't push back the PC version in favor of getting people to double dip on PS4/XBO versions before they open it up to the heaviest pirated platform. I mean that's why they have delayed the PC version of their big games in the past.

Also people need to get their heads out of the clouds with this 1080p/60fps expectation on PS4 for Open World games. It's simply not going to happen as those styles of games require so much more resources than something like The Last of Us. Open world games will be 1080p/30 just like Ubisoft predicted.

And as long as it is actually locked 30 without dips into the 20's, it will be fine for these styles of games and is still a major improvement over the low 20's we experience on open world games on PS360.
 
PS4 version yes please Jesus. Would love to see this out on PS4. Shit will be glorious.

Happy its coming to PC; makes release on PS4 that much more plausable.

oh boy

i don't expect it to be a good port though. it would probably need 2 gtx titans to keep constant 60FPS similar to COD ghosts. Max payne 3 was an exception because it was developed side by side with the console versions. meaning it wasn't a port.

The way I read their Tweet is more like they are making the announcement - not Nintendo/Rockstar. Guess we'll know in less than 4hrs. I hope they clarify the Tweet a bit so people can set expectations accordingly.
 
I have a PC, but would much rather have it on Ps4, although I suppose I can use the DS4 on PC...

Fuck it, I don't care. I just want a better version than the one I played. The game was fantastic.
