It wasn't 3 weeks ago, but Easter is the season of mass budget purchasing in the UK and the DS is the ideal console to keep the kids quiet with.

I can't see Final Fantasy doing that well on the DS to be honest - the people buying all these top 10 DS games are not the same people who want retro RPG games.

I can't see Final Fantasy doing that well on the DS to be honest - the people buying all these top 10 DS games are not the same people who want retro RPG games.

It'll do pretty good I reckon - look at Diddy Kong Racing and Theme Park, they've both entered the charts (which is more than could be said for Nintendo a few years ago). But yeah I can't imaging it'll do anything too spectacular.

Nintendo had 5 games in the top 40 last week while the PS3 only had 2. From the looks of it Nintendo has 4 this week while the PS3 only has 3. With Wii Play charting so high it looks like the Wii also outsold the PS3 this week. Motorstorm and Resistance are doing great and all but we have yet to see anything else chart really post launch.

Yes, you can get the charts from the Pro7 teletext. I'm getting the charts sent by mail, but usually someone else posts them before me because I'm not checking regularly.

You do know that Nintendo is handling the TV advertising campaign (hence the 'by the makers of nintendogs' tagline) and also co-publishing the game in Europe, right? It's a cheesey advert, but at least it's tapping into the right market...

The PS3 is doing really well in AUS, NZ and Norway actually. Resistance is 4 and MotorStorm is 6 for AUS, 2 & 5 for NZ and 7 & 2 for Norway! The PS3s weekly sales must be quite healthy to sustain this, no?

What's happening? Aren't PS3s 1000AUSD a pop in Australia???

Does anyone else see the trend that... PS3s are doing better in PAL regions, than in America, and better in America than in Japan. Yet it is most expensive in PAL regions, followed by America and Japan!

=O maybe Sony shouold RAISE the price of the PS3?! =O

It was a decent try, could be better. Def better than the other version cause of waggle. I say wait for 08 coming out in a few months, or get this one from the bargain bin.

That said, my dad plays this almost everyday. If you're some nitpicky bitch, you probably will want to do my suggestion above. If you're a casual player and couldn't care less and loves golf, by all means get this one now.

well Harvest moon DS needs to sell (I want rune factory.. pronto!) but this is really misleading.. I wonder if Nintendo will sue them (at least for the "from the developers of Nintendogs" line)

Yes, it is - but there are a few courses missing compared to the PS2/XB version.
