European Nintendo DS releasedate revealed?

Rayman DS got a releasedate, the Nintendo DS too?

According to the German online shop Amazon Rayman DS, an European launch game from Ubisoft, will be released on 17th March 2005. This means that the Nintendo DS would appear on the same date in the shops.

Nintendo of Europe didn't want to comment this and announced the revealation of their plans for the European Nintendo DS launch for early January.

Some earlier rumors said the same ;)

Wasn't Gamecube released right before the fiscal year ended?
It is not surprising they will launch it right before the end to add 500k – 1 million to the final report.

Nintendo have told MCV that it will be Q1.

They've also said they haven't said when or for how much yet is partly because of PSP, which is also slated for Q1/2. They've promised a very competitive price.

They say expect announcements in January. I have a strange feeling it will either be suprisingly cheap (ie not much over the $ = €/£ conversions) or that it will come early.

GameCube launched in May in PAL territories, 6 fucking months after the US.
