Yeah, it's retarded. I don't know why dudes are so fucking stupid about this stuff now. If the model for Horizon or a TLoU character showed up at Naughty Dog and looked at some behind the scenes stuff with the director literally no one would be critizing it. But apparently this is cringe because she's attractive.

Bro the US is not a norm for the world... and even then.. her body is pretty normal (for a slim body) I would definitely not consider her an Unicorn and/or something untenable... sometimes our own anecdotal evidence gets in the way of a broader reality.

Nothing against the Stellar Blade model and I liked the game a lot but the body shown here is actually pretty normal and ain't anything special.

There's those funny fat jokes on the U.S from other countries but as someone that actually lives here and in a big city. There's plenty of folks in great shape and looks good.
 
Hopefully PC day 1 this time, I find myself going back to Stellar Blade over any other souls-like when I need my action fix, Asian devs are simply better.

It's not far off, and it's ironic you bring up using anecdotes considering I'm the only one who didn't use an anecdote, I used the actual statistics. And, yes, the US is fatter, but there are multiple European countries as well as places like Australia, Canada, the UK, etc. that are filled with women pushing 160 Ib averages. 35 year old women who weigh 120 Ibs, or less, don't exactly grow on trees anymore. Percentage wise, they are an extreme minority.

First it was Lords of the Fallen 2, now we're seeing this garbage with Stellar Blade AGAIN. It's fucking tiring. The people doing this crap is this meme unironically:

Again not the whole world.. lets take south korea, the average weight for women in that country is 119-130 lbs or 54-59 kg with an average height of 161 cm (5'3) . So its is a slim country on average. So again this model in her country is not an unicorn.

Than we have south america, the rest of asia, a lot of european country's...

Sorry for me the world is not full of fat and ugly women ... but thats just my perception you have yours... thats ok.
 
You can find random Instagram girls with only a few hundred followers hotter than her.

There's no doubt she got a ton of plastic surgery done bc in South Korea that's pretty normal even for teens in high school.

Your example is more relevant than you think. The original book had the creature being made with the best human parts possible, and as such is suppose to be extremely beautiful. The horror is suppose to come from how the creature was treated by others as not being made by divine hands.

Devs in South Korea used a South Korean model for their game, why would they care if there are 11/10 drop-dead gorgeous women in Colombia, Italy or Czech Republic to name a few other countries, it's not like they would fly to other countries to find them, money doesn't grow on trees...

Stellar Blade was one of my favorite games of 2024 and 2025 (PS5 & PC). Looking forward to more of that game. Hope Shift Up can push the boundaries more with even better gameplay and more scandalous outfits for EVE. Maybe some more greenery in levels.

I'm a simple gamer man.
