Man is it ever weird. My wife just had her birthday and I'm running late picking up stuff so I'm racing around in my car with this helium ballon. The damn thing moves completely opposite of what you would expect. When you accelerate it moves forward when you brake hard it goes back. It even leans in to corners. I thought I was going nuts but it's apparantly one if Einstiens crazy physics theories. Any one care to explain. Also I recomend next time you pick up a ballon to race around with it in your car.

Lighter than air?

All the air rushes forward when you stop...so it goes back. Opposite if when you accellerate. When you lean into a turn....the air pressure is....oh fuck I don't know what I'm talking about. :lol

*goes to buy a helium balloon*

i wsa expecting a hilarious story about how the balloon had a small leak, and you started talking all funny, and then you got lightheaded and stuff.

That was the best four dollars i ever spent.

It really freaked me out at first. I had in the passenger seat and whip around a hard left and the balloon moves right in front of me as I pushed right. It was a total WTF moment. After that I spent more time watching the balloon then I did the road.

In a thread the other day I mentioned it and people were surprised. It's funny how differently you come off online as compared to reality.
