this statement leads me to believe that you've never actually gone to any of his stand-up shows. he KILLS. i saw him about 3 months ago--he had this story about hanging out with 8 of his friends, trying to beat up a guy on meth that they came across--possibly the most i've ever laughed. the show is corny, compared to his stand-up act.

The show stereotypes races just as frequently as any popular media I can think of. White people are a certain way, black people are a certain way, etc. It is the job of the brilliant protagonists to point this out to the immature reader.

His second one took a while to get going, but he had some good stuff in there. The thing that annoys me about his stand-up is that he does that step-back-and-laugh-at-himself move after every joke. Once you notice it, it bugs.
