I think justin wong will balance both. But he stated that he wants to beat ryanlv and is already studying videos of his play
OMG Justin checking the tapes...

I predict Vergil counter pick incoming.

Going to be rough for the folks in attendance. But for folks watching at home like me, Marvel at 11am is going to be an awesome way to start the day off.

KBR smh

Going off what he said on both Facebook and his twitter replies/explanations to people, he pretty much stated that Justin is able to donate $2000 for UMVC3 due to the amount of money he makes. He previously stated that he does not agree that people should be boasting about donating money because it may gain them a bigger following or fanfare.

I'm honestly not sure how else to take that besides KBR being salty and resentful, he does not seem to have the tact to think before saying something or what it may cause. He can say that he's just stating something via a simple comment, but why does it need to be stated in the first place? People love to jump to conclusions, but dude is not doing himself any favors when he already has a reputation of being a freeloader (which I can say I have seen first hand personally, not just via an online post), which is then worsened when you try to do a simple statement about another known player. That shit sticks with you, and he has no one else to blame but himself.

He doesn't agree with donating with your name attached if the intent is to be philanthropic. If you want to be generous, then you can do so without announcing it or by doing it anonymously is his stance. If you choose to donate with your name attached and announcing it out, then the fame and recognition comes from it is a part of it.

Is he wrong? I don't think so. Regardless of your personal stance on whether you should or should not attach your name to a big donation the fact is, doing so paints you in a positive light. The fact that people don't recognize this is amazing. He did not badmouth Justin, what he stated is simply a matter of fact. Justin has the money and is willing to do it. It can also be considered an investment on himself.

I've seen the full conversation and him bringing it up makes sense considering the thread starter. Of course, it was conveniently left out of the picture. But hey, who cares about what's actually being said?

Not that I disagree with the fact KBR doesn't do himself favors but but hardly anyone actually bothers looking into it and takes sides immediately without putting some real thought into what's going on.

Lol I'm definitely salty, but I'm happy for the Marvel community. I just wanted a chance to compete in my favorite fighter! Lol, but ah well. Good show, good show. Hope the Pokken community gets another shot with the inevitable sequel. Then I'll be back!

AWWWW

YEAHHH

EVO is relevant to me once again. Thanks to all the fans responsible for this, so good to see Marvel continuing the streak so many years later.

Nothing else comes close to me right now aside from KI so this is going to be so good.

Damn, Marvel 3 still going strong and a new Marvel coming too by Capcom - somebody pinch me.

ARMS will have its chance to prove itself as a competitive fighting game throughout 2017. If it can maintain a competitive scene, it'll be at EVO 2018. While I'm sure it'll be a fun game, if it'll be a good competitive game remains to be seen.

Sure................

But the community being there for their game.
It's great that the community came together in the end and collected money for a good cause. It won, it deserves a spot. But I'm not buying this "needs to be at EVO" at all. Especially with a new game right around the corner. This could've been a great opportunity to show something new. There was no need to be that "hurt" about the possibility of Marvel missing Sunday. And I mean every community here. I'm sure either of the Smash communities would've reacted the same way in that position and that would've been just as dumb.

Everyone wants to give MvC3 it's proper swan song before MvCI arrives. It's valid.
2016 wasn't good enough?

How is a second year of pokken new?

It wasn't a Sunday game, was it? I honestly can't remember. Something completely new would've been even better but in all honesty I don't know why anyone voted for ARMS at this point. It could be a great game or terrible.
I would have liked ARMs or Windjammers tbh

2017 is shaping to be better.

ARMS is completely brand new and it would've been fun (like Pokken last year).

Hell, get For Honor up in there.

I COMPLETELY AGREE but it's impossible to compete against established Marvel as a completely new game. Nintendo should've had invited some pros to try ARMS to convince them of the game, if it is capable of being a FGC game that is. No idea.

With Windjammers getting a new version there's always some hope in that regard.

I just dislike this stagnation. People dropped KI immediately just fine. Why not Marvel? It was just for one year anyway.
Drop Melee too please.
