I think the only problem is that Smug (or someone else, I guess lol) would have to beat Justin Wong. Have the two ever played?
BBCP pools will be streamed by jyosua http://www.twitch.tv/jyosua

I think the massive problem with KI as a spectator game/sport is that none of the mindgames unique to the combo system translate into what you see onscreen. They're interesting to play, but not to watch. Similar to TACs in Marvel.YESH!!!!!!!
Nice to see a good entry for KI. This will be hype.

All you want is the EVO logo?I was looking for the Evo logo.
If I take a picture with a dapper hat, tipping will intensify. I can't handle that.
I think Counter Breakers are hype though.I think the massive problem with KI as a spectator game/sport is that none of the mindgames unique to the combo system translate into what you see onscreen. They're interesting to play, but not to watch. Similar to TACs in Marvel.
To my knowledge, the AH3:LM event is not going to be streamed. If it is, Numakie would probably end up streaming it (and would also have Melty Blood, Aquapazza, Chaos Code and JoJos). If this changes, I'll let everyone know.is the arcana heart 3 love max!!!!! side tourney going to be streamed? Who's gonna handle it in that case
I could play KoF, but I gather that it's super hard to get into.
Not any harder than any other FG, IMO.
Cant fucking wait LETS GOOOOOOO
Mr. Victor Fontaine isn't helping out with the streams this year?
Every time EVO pops up, I get excited and say, "I'm going to get into fighting games again!" But I never do...Mostly because I can't stand SF, MvC, or Tekken. I could play KoF, but I gather that it's super hard to get into. And as for Blazblue, same deal. Also KI means I'd need an X1 which will never happen.
Will still watch!
Smug came pretty close to beating him at NEC.
KOF is not hard to get into.
A lot of the bread and butter combos are short and easy and do great damage and there is very little in the way of links.
Not any harder than any other FG, IMO.

No fighting game is hard to get into. Scenes are hard to get into, not the games.
Just play the games you like with your friends and stop worrying about what the competitors are doing.
This is going to be the crowd if Apologyman makes top 8.
You can't see it but every time PRRog's "caws" and flaps his wing a piece of his soul is lost.... On the outside he is hyped up but on the inside he is reminded of the pain that led him to "quit" the game.

I'm good for it -- I'm just going to be all over place, as I'm running stuff during the day and doing who knows what at night.
It's good to see people try out more games -- if only you could play a better anime fighting game./s, when's Xrd?
Maybe I should buy earplugs just in case then.
Eh - I disagree. I could never wrap my head around the "feel" of VF, Tekken, or SC. But 3rd Strike? That just "clicked" with me - the feel, flow, style...A lot of fighting games are so different from one another that it CAN make it hard to get into. For example, I couldn't get into MK9 because everything felt so heavy initially. I wasn't inspired to stick with it more than a few weeks.
Not being able to "see" what combos/decisions they're making is tied into that. (Which isn't a problem in say, KOF/Marvel/SF.)I think Counter Breakers are hype though.
KI is probably a more read based game than SF. If you know what your opponent will do you won't get comboed and your combos all hit for max damage. This is in addition to the reads you have to make in the neutral and for mix ups.
make sure you also get hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes, and surgical mask. Also get a lot of Vitamin C in your system.
Is there a source for this gold?
This is definitely a problem in KI and also a problem with Marvel when it comes to TACs (you can't see what the other person inputted for the TAC counter). Not being able to "see" what combos/decisions they're making is tied into that. (Which isn't a problem in say, KOF/Marvel/SF.)
I'm talking in terms of any perceived complexities arising from trying to understand a game's elements, causing a barrier to intuitive play, rather than some vague notion of a game just not "feeling" right because, reasons.
FGs are fundamentally intuitive because they're competitive - press attack buttons until you deplete your opponent's life bar before he/she depletes yours. It never becomes more complex than that until you start deliberating and exploring more effective tactics to satisfy the win condition.
