It'd be a bad way to go in a major that's for sure.

I believe they did patch it though so that if you do it and you're both on your last stock, the player you grabbed wins instead of you like it was in vanilla Smash 4.

Has Zero become beatable at some point since that insane win streak he was on ended?

There was a stretch after his hand injury + Sheik needle debuff (Zero's Sheik was its own beast in terms of playstyle) last year where he was getting upset, not consistently placing number 1. None of the people contending for number 1 were consistent enough to take his place during that stretch.

But he's back now. Not as ridiculous, but still number 1 by a stretch.
