I actually think Zero plays significantly worse under pressure. His strength is that he can calm himself down really easily and download his opponent so quickly.

I mean that sounds like doing good under pressure to me. Everyone performs poorly under heavy stress, but being able to reset your mindset and clutch it out is a rare skill
