has revealed her gender transition and will now be using female pronouns. The 42-year-old retired wrestler – formerly known as Gabe Tuft – is now called Gabbi, and will reveal her remarkable journey in a new programme on Extra TV tomorrow. A press release announcing the show reads: ‘Despite her successes during and after her WWE career, Gabbi was still wrestling with a secret persona dwelling deep within her. This is a persona she has been hiding in the loud silence of her soul since childhood. ‘Finally, with the blessing of her loving wife Priscilla, [Gabbi] is ready to reveal who she really is. Now known as she/her. A beautiful, wise, witty and wonderful woman.

Good for her I guess. Can't imagine how difficult that must have been to just do the transition and deal with everything that fallows, especially when your kind of known.

I keep seeing this type of headline showing up other places too, some saying WWE Superstar, and all I think is hasn't he/she been gone for a long time...and star? Dude couldn't even break the main roster, not sure if he even saw more then a small handful of NXT tapings. Ex-WWE Employee should be the headline, but then I assume it's less brave as a Superstar transitioning, and all I think is how fucked up this all is for someone in their 40s to do to their wife and daughter? I think they have a daughter. Whatever floats their boat I guess, not sure why this is news that the world needs to know and why it needed to have a million interviews done. Nobody was wondering what happened to Tyler Reks, I can assure you

Is there gonna be a commercial for the reveal/show during the Super Bowl?

I hope people record the reactions of family members lol

Reks was on Smackdown for a little bit. I remember them being on a Survivor Series team one year. For some reason I remember that they took Kaval’s (Low Ki in WWE) spot on the team. But they weren’t around for long. So yeh not exactly a major star or even that notable.

But good for her. Hope she’s happy.

Cool, I thought I had remembered seeing Reks at least once but for the life of me I couldn't remember anything he did while he was there.

Wasn't the deal he won a spot on the team but then they ended up kicking him and other people off to put on more "main stream" superstars?(it's been so long I'm trying to remember.)

All of the performers are "Superstars." It's just a term Vince uses. Harvey Wippleman also a WWF/E Superstar.

There has to be something in the water in America, how can so many of you be so retarded?

Today i see this dude thinking he looks like a woman and not a fucking bigfoot with makeup on.

Yesterday i saw the video of those two idiots who got themselves killed over shoveling snow. Every single day there is some kind of story that just showcases the pure idiocy of Americans where it seems like that kind of shit is the majority not the minority

There has to be a reason for such utter craziness, lack of common sense and self awareness. It cant just be the good times create weak men thing, because this shit is bananas

AEW has a trans wrestler in the women’s division. She was champion for a while.

tbh I don’t know who they were in the WWE as I might have stopped watching it by then.

either way

Congrats for doing what they wanted to do with their life.

more power to them.

Has WWE ever tried to appeal to the lbgt community (other than some female wrestlers potentially liking other girls) or do they know it's gonna suck hard with the live crowd? It's an honest question, I haven't followed what's happening in wrestling for a long time.
