William Wallace was hung, drawn and quartered, and beheaded in Smithfield, London.

Instead of watching Mel Gibson's fantasy version of William Wallace, check out this book (which was originally written nearly a decade before Gibson's fantasy movie came out):

I was at Edinburgh Castle a few weeks ago and took this shot

Robert Bruce was on the other side, but no traitor will grace my camera!

why is there a serial port in the wall?
Scots were really ahead of the times during the castle's construction, unfortunately preceding computers and, of course, electricity

Or that might be a vent.

hey now, Robert Bruce is my ancestor, hater! His betrayel of William Wallace wasn't accurate, anyway.

Braveheart still fucking rocks though...

Yes it does. Yeah it may be a fictional accounting of factual events, but that doesn't diminish it as a good movie with a good story.

What, it was a great story. You must be English!

I know, it was a joke

Nothing in the movie was accurate.
This is classic 'Santa isn't real!??? He f'ing sucks!!'

I don't give an assfuck if Braveheart is accurate or not. Awesome movie with battle scenes that kick the living shit out of a certain recent trilogy.

Yes really. Braveheart's battle scenes shit all over LOTR.

for sure.

Fuck that CG shit. I cant believe ppl actually cheered when orlando bloom slid down the elephant. Its looked horrible.

While we are on the LOTR-battles hate bandwagon, you may not like the movie as a whole but The Last Samurai's final battle also shits on said trilogy from a great height for sure.

ok now your crazy the last battle was them basically riding their horses into guns. Not to mention Cruise ruining the ending with his overacting. Great movie overall tho.
