F-Zero Revolution: What Are You Expecting?

I want to be able to attach two Revmotes together and hold them vertically like a flightstick.

Motion blur (not too much) will complement the game well!

I think a more realistic palette would look cool. I've customized mine with my own colours and it looks way better than all the others. Online play, of course.

Personally I felt it was a weak racer from SEGA, I think they should refine the controls and get a bit more creative on the tracks. Some of the tracks had excellent elements, and other parts really sucked. Some of the straightways could have been spiced up with those speed booster pads in interesting locations...I think more strategical jumps would be great too.

The music was the best part of F-Zero GX...watchutalkinbout, isamu?!

Guys, I didn't say the music was bad(I honestly haven't heard much of it, given I have yet to play the game). But after like 83726475960 hours of gameplay, who WOULDN'T get tired of hearing the same ole music over and over again! The fact that Nintendo took out an option that is pretty much a fucking NO BRAINER to all other racing games, is beyond pathetic.

Music is subjective...you may absolutely love the music in F-ZeroGX, while others may like it a bit but not after a month of hearing it over and over. That is why so many people are thrilled that X360 will have the ability to do custom soundtracks. It gives us the freedom to be selective about what we listen to and we will have the option to give our racing game's tunes some variety.

Being confined and practically FORCED to listen to Sega's F-ZeroGX tunes throughout the game all the time was a very shitty thing to do IMHO.

Why not just turn the volume off? :)

I am expecting 20% more titties and an EA sponsored soundtrack preferably with that cool DJ from Burnout.

I agree....kinda...I wish all games had independent sound level controls. one for music, one for voices, one for sound effects. And if there are voices, subtitles are a must.

This isn't an F-Zero exclusive problem though....

For racing games, it pretty much is...isn't it?

What was the name of the Sega dev team that made this game? Have they shown any interest in doing a Revolution version?

I would buy the game if they included online mode.

Eye Catching levels, skyscrapers, buildings, Tokyo-like buildings/citylife.....

Faster framerate/MPH than any Fzero to date.....and I'm sorry to say: 100 cars on the same track. ONLINE.

And please for the love of god, include weapons.

Well, the anaolog stick could be used for basic steer, while the remote could be used for acceleration, tilt, slideing, checks, etc.
Hey, that's a really good idea!

Amusement Vision I think.

I wish they can just get that yakuza game done with and get back to what they're good at, racing games and monkeyball. But since Tagoshi has since moved up to more managerial role in sega, i'm not sure if it would be the same.

F-Zero GX is good enough that I'm not desperate for an update yet, maybe later in the generation when they have a better idea of how to use the rev controller and an established online community. For now, I think a proper EAD update of Waverace, 1080 or even Excitebike is in order. Those games were awesome on the N64.

If they could get 30 players online at 60FPS I would be satisfied with only a slight upgrade in graphics from F-Zero GX.

One thing they have to do is to make the default analogue controls a bit tighter. They were way too loose/touchy in GX until you calibrated them to feel like F-Zero X.
