I *hated* Fable. Put in about 6 hours and I kept waiting for it to get better. Finally quit playing when I got to the mission where you had to sneak past some enemies and get past some gate. I kept getting caught. Really shitty game imo.

Most of the missions consisted of me steering my character to the next exit, and then fighting some pushover boss. Only two missions (the infiltration and the prison) were interesting.
I kinda enjoyed it, and don't regret renting it, but for some reason the game felt like the exact opposite of epic.

I can see how people were disappointed in the game. I was extremely linear and there was a ton of stuff cut.
