Fairy Fencer F (Compile Heart/Amano/Uematsu's Band) Screenshots

The black haired girl is wearing pants and wearing something cool that isn't too suggestive? That is impressive.

...she has an incredibly huge cleavage that can be seen from those shots, right?

So they decided to make a new "label" (or whatever) just to make the exact same looking games they were making before? What's the point.

Presumably to get more eyes on their games before people realize it's the exact same stuff as before.

Sure. Why not? Doesn't look bad. A little more moe than my tastes, but I've been meaning to try the Neptunia series anyway. I'll probably check this out.

I like JRPGs.

Why is it that Compile Heart games always have nice looking characters, but gameplay always seems to fall flat? :/

Its why I fear buying any of their games anymore.

but he's not drawing the girls :(

Eh, he's still working on something with cute girls in it, like he said he wanted to do.

They have some good ideas. It's just their games are horribly unpolished messes. I would definitely welcome one that could turn that around though.

Awesome! Day One! Now I'll have something to look forward to after I finish Time and Eternity

Seems like all my money goes to either NIS or Compile Heart these days

neptunia games worth picking up? Am I missing anything if I skip some?

fans of neptunia games seem to think they're worthwhile, for what it's worth. I own a copy of Mk2 but haven't had the time to check it out yet myself. It seems like the sort of thing a person might like if they were into cheeky moe comedy nonsense.

I have the whole series unplayed on my shelf so far until I get more game time but the lure of moe and comedy non-sense don't even register on the scale of reasons I'm going to play them. They look fun and there's been a severe lack of choice this generation when it comes to jRPG styled games. Trust me, I'd be more than happy to rid of this moe stigma.

Man, Tiara is soooo adorable. I want to just hug her to death.

I want this game so bad it hurts.

I don't get this. They all look the same. All of these girls, they're all identical, expect for the colour of their hair. Every single game, its the same girl, over and over.

What is it you see that I can't?

They had to resort to use Amano and Uematsu names to make this different from their others 4545 moeshit products. You could switch some Neptunia screenshots in there and no one would see any difference.

Awful.

oh, i didn't mean to say "moe comedy non-sense" like it is a bad thing. That's the entire reason i bought mk2. to me that equals fun.

The weirdest thing is that despite the label, this seems slightly more mainstream than Neptunia because there is actually a dude as part of the main cast. At least it's on the periphery of my interest right now. I'm sure that'll change when a video surfaces and it turns out the humor/cast is just as obnoxious.

Tsunako's art is polished and all (there are plenty of people working on higher profile games with shittier draftsmanship) but it's pretty boring seeing their (her?) art in yet anotheerrrr Compile Heart game. :|

The gameplay's the only thing I enjoy in MK2.

You'd like V's even more.

Well their hairstyle, color of eyes, shape of eyes, physique, bust size, is all different. They do seem to suffer from the same shape of face syndrome but its hardly noticeable unless you look real close.

Have you ever gotten that sense of euphoria when you look at something and you just can't help but squeal on the inside? Like eating a favorite food or someone telling you that you look nice, or whatever. That positive, indescribable positive sensation that leaves you feeling all warm inside? That's what I get from looking at her. Its hard to explain what I see that gets me all riled up. If I could only let you borrow my eyes for but a spell....

I do believe what you just described is the feeling of moe. It feels all fuwafuwa and great.

I might consider getting V at some point.

I get moe, I really do. But I prefer moe to be a side-dish rather than a main course. I can't take anything seriously otherwise. And Neptunias are really long games if you for all the endings.

I hate myself for wanting this. I've bought every single Neptunia game and have not played a single one.

Compile heart, why do you torture me so!?

From what I gather, a lot of fans love Tsunako's art though. BTW she's the lady on the left.

I'm more excited for the soundtrack than the game. This is a perfect example of talent being channeled to all the wrong places.

I love it! Bring it over, or make me learn Japanese.
