this is shit i read in an interview with Uematsu from a magazine in 1998

I know genki is often using tweeting old news but this is a record

So you read a magazine 27 years ago and now nobody is allowed to discuss this podcast story from yesterday?

i'm saying it's old fucking news

or should I start a topic where I publish the news how John Carmack twisted a pixel, thus creating 3D pixels? Should we pretend that's news as well, if Carmack talks about it in a recent podcast?

Arpeggios were the norm in the 8/16 bit era because with a limited number of monophonic voices, it was the only realistic way to create chords.

Well, yes you could do that, I'm sure it would be news for some, and some might even go "Who???".

I met the guy once, along with Masashi Hamauzu at Final Symphony in London around 15 years ago.

Uematsu signed my copy of FF7 and FF9 Soundtrack. Hamauzu signed my copy of FF13.

It was a wonderful moment.

If I found out Uematsu was touring again for a FS or Distant Worlds and there was a chance for a meet or greet I'd be happy to pay it. He is the biggest legend for music in video games.

I hope we get another contribution from him for the final FF7R game and something for this rumoured 9 remake.
