Also what happened with penguindrum? Is it wrapped yet? I think I dropped it around 12 or 13. If I didn't care tremendously for the first half would it still be worth finishing?

Penguin Drum has two more episodes left to air. If you didn't care for the first half, I wouldn't recommend continuing with the second half, except for episode 16, which is a hilarious episode even out of context.

I'm glad everyone is keeping an open mind about the winter season instead of just writing off everything based on a little picture and a one sentence description of the show.

Only one show is a must watch to me based on those descriptions, but thats from having seen four pvs of it already, however like fall season, I imagine the first post of the winter thread will sell me or not sell me on picking up other anime.

I watched Queen's Blade and all of it's OVAs and I plan on watching the new one as well.

I think that must be the only explanation. Through many years perfecting the drills I have gained the ability to digest fanservice with little consequence to my body and life.
