Oh god, this week is the last Squid Girl episode, too. The last good show this year.
Hardly, I remember Highschool of the Dead having a recap episode at around 5 or 6.... IT WAS A 12 EPISODE SERIES FFS.

K-ON is just really good at what it does. It is singularly designed to test the limits of your heart's tolerance to devastating moe attacks. Humanity has this far demonstrated that it is up to the task of absorbing this powerful moenuke into it's midst. But how much longer can it ensure? What are the limits of human endurance to this most capable threat? Will we survive the next onslaught? At what cost?

Actually it's my iPhone 4's camera. For whatever reason whenever I"m in my room it takes the world's shittiest pictures. Everywhere else it's pretty damn okay though. :/

There really needs to be some law prohibiting bad shows from acting like they are going to get a second season. Can't believe they decided to end the show like that. They might as well have put READ THE MANGA right across the screen for the episode.

I don't like this at all. I don't care about any of the idols or their struggles, and it's painfully obvious how they're all one-note stereotypes when every word out of their mouths fits into that one note. Producer is annoying and pathetic, with that sweatdrop permanently affixed to his cheek. There's some nice character animation, but that alone can't carry a show. I will soldier on however, since the general consensus seems to have been that this gets better. I know there are some big dance sequences down the line, if nothing else.

It's surprisingly good.
It started great, kind of fell off (well, that could have had something to do with the expectations based on the first episode), but it turned into something pretty sweet by the end. I ended up liking it a lot.
