The Adventures of Mini-Goddess - 48 (fin)

What a fantastic but underrated show. What now? I guess, I will watch the first season of You're Under Arrest and the both movies of You're Under Arrest and Oh! My Goddess.

I liked Mini-Goddesses better than either the main OVA or TV show, mostly because it focused on Urd and Skuld hijinks with Ms. Waifu in the background.

I'll say it again. That Live action Drama was not good IMO.
It had its ups and downs. I certainly didn't care for how they tried to do cartoon comedy, as when you see a real person hurt themselves that way it just comes across as painful rather than humorous. The airplane special effects were definitely not a minus, though.

Toradora OVA:

It's a weird feeling seeing what amounts to an episode from
the first half of the season
without the context of the series. You don't really remember the characters and where they are at in terms of their development, so you're wondering if the other shoe will drop -
which it does, albeit a very tiny bit
and you're also trying to place the episode within the chronology of the series itself.

It's too bad that they didn't take a chance and do a
post-series
story though. I suppose that's not what people want though, but it's still a bit disappointing.

Of course, the really funny thing is that I don't even remember if I like the series or not. The OVA doesn't really tilt the scale either way.

Indeed. I though the way they handled the comical sitauation was not funny in many parts but what made me dislike it was the was melodrama was handled. The whole problem solving to various problems were absurd as the problems themself were stuff that could not happen iin real life.

The Airplane situations were quite good and I thought the main character (the male one) was the best thing about the series and I enjoyed his dialogue and his acting.

UN-GO 10: I've long since stopped trying to figure out the mysteries and decided to just ride the wave. It's disappointing to see Rie become such a non-character though.

Guilty Crown - 11

Shu's friends are Mudokens confirmed.

Friends: Why you helping terrorists?

Shu: They make me feel special

Friends: Okay

Followed by.

And ends in.

What the dickens!? o_O

I swear to god if this new E7 show doesn't have Kenichi Yoshida as the actual chara-design, I will blow a gasket and destroy BONES HQ.

Also I'd consider Eureka 7 among my top 20 anime if I were to ever make a list, but I get a pretty strong 'don't know if want' feeling from the new series. And I was actually okay with the movie.

I've been thinking of getting Eureka 7. Should I buy it?

Yes. E7 is the pennicle of Bones for me along with Darker than Black and Rehxaphone.

Buying it is a must. Although I am really annoyed what sort of expension have they added to the overall story in the two PS2 games that never came out in Europe.

Thats why I need to know who is involved in making it.

If it can maintain the same quality of atmosphere, music, design, theme, etc as the original, it will be the most Ive been excited for an anime since like...2008. For one thing, the setting in E7 alone is one of my favorites in all anime.

Also, return of high quality 2D mecha animation??

Speaking of which whatever happened to the one and the only Dai Sato that have worked on E7? I haven't seen anything by him since 5 years ago.

He worked on some kids show, did a few episodes of Eden of the East, and dunno what else. Oh, part of Halo Legends and that CG Tekken movie that came out recently (lolz)

Hey, what's wrong with Belldandy? She is so kind and beautiful and got in the later manga chapters a nice yandere attachment

Pretty much no one from E7 has done a major TV work since.

Director? Only storyboarding and episode director gigs (someone says he made a movie too? I dont believe it)

Character Design? No main design for anything since IIRC. Only key animation gigs.

Writer? lol as said already.

No wonder BONES have become shit since Darker than Black aired. I myself keep hyping myself for every show they announce and give them benifit of the doubt. Now I have learned my lesson (after horrible 6-7 Animes since then)

Piss off BONES!

Guilty Crown 11: I'm so glad I didn't drop this show last week. Shit is the best comedy of the year. Everything that could have happened happened and it happened in HYPERCHARGE MODO. 10/10, would watch again.

The studio pretty much imploded after the total failure of Ayakashi Ayashi. There's a pretty distinct line in the middle of their existence. Pre and Post AA. Their run before AA is one of the best and most consistent of any Japanese TV anime studio imo, and their run after...is still consistent...just in the wrong way :lol

Since then:

Darker than Black: Kuro no Keiyakusha
Xam'd: Lost Memories
Skull Man
Soul Eater
Chiko, Heiress of the Phantom Thief
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
Tokyo Magnitude 8.0
Darker than Black: Ryūsei no Gemini
Heroman
Star Driver: Kagayaki no Takuto
Gosick
No. 6
Un-Go

Holycrap, Only 2 can be considered good. What a pity record.
