Its an anime original, the mango is just an adaptation that was revealed a bit earlier than the show and isnt out yet.

Bolded are all decent/good/etc. Xam'd may have turned out incomprehensible by the end, but the individual episodes and overall production was still worthy of a lot of merit.
Sad thing is its still a way more respectable output than most other studios at the moment. Its just far, far, from the quality of their work from 2000-2006

Not that it really matters. Saying that "sequel to that old really popular show that didn't require a sequel might not be as good as the original property" is close to stating that the sky is blue.
The unfortunate truth, outside of rare gems like Sword of the Stranger.
I think the common theme here is that Bones needs an exceptional director to make a great anime.

Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 is not a good show. Didn't know how to fill 11 episodes and trailed off into stupidity. FMA: Brotherhood is the one show from that list I can vouch for.
Oh yeah, Stranger was balls out awesome.
Too bad Ando went insane and started to work on nothing but crap afterwards.

And Ouran, which featured the lesser Sailor Moon alumnus.
He's got a stable job selling body pillows now, leave him alone.

I still don't understand how Ouran worked out as well as it did. Especially after Star Driver.

Hanasaku Iroha, while inconsistent, is a good show overall. The two episodes Ando directed are incredible.

Ouran was also based off of a manga while Star Driver was all original. Easier to make something good when the source material is (supposedly) good.
They produced most of my favorite shows of the last decade, no matter how inconsistent they are now, that won't change.
Please, don't give them ideas.

If I remember correctly, Heroman has a really epic and short scene in Episode 24, 25 or 26. The part where the main kid freaks out and try to destroy the alien thing alone. It was only 2-3minutes long but awesome. The rest is shit still.
Now I'm on board.
