I wish I remembered, heh. She tried pronouncing the names of the stuff I ordered, and I told her she didn't need to suffer trying to get them out lol
Super nice though.
Greatest fight in anime history.
People were given the gift of webm but instead feel a need to still make 200MB gifs instead. Sad times.would also suggest that linking to actual footage of the fights in question would better serve your argument than a bunch of stamp-sized five second cuts.
made .gif is far easier for me tbh, I'm still yet to figure out a way to made .webm without troublesome codec tinkering or uploading giant file with my crappy internet.People were given the gift of webm but instead feel a need to still make 200MB gifs instead. Sad times.
Some anime was added to Netflix (U.S.) today.
- Arpeggio of Blue Steel
- Kotoura-san
- My Little Monster
- Samurai Famenco
It is probably my favorite episode as well
Kotoura-san is now available to a wider audience? Maybe Good Smile will finally show off more of her Nendo that is close to becoming the Last Guardian of figurines.
Even though I have no interest in buying it
Well, I didn't watch the episode yet, but if it's anything like Nodame, the performances are recorded perfectly technically for the major performances to sell soundtracks. At that level of competition though, it's not difficult to give a flawless technical performance through practice. The scoring is also about your interpretation of the piece. The music sheet shows the notes, but not the expression of the original composer. Well, not all of it. I'm no violinist though. :lolYour Lie in April - Episode 2
At least the other half of noitaminA this season is much better. I'm still not really sold on the dramatic aspects of this show, but I think the feelings it successfully invokes in the presentation of the characters and themes make up for it somewhat. It was pretty funny seeing all the static "performances" before the Kaori shows up and gets a fully animated one though. Expected for a TV series, but still, really funny. I wonder how accurate the actual musical performances were for the episode though. I'm so bad at music stuff I can't tell one way or another. Was the guy who was supposed to be "off" actually making any obvious mistakes?
If your show doesn't even get a Beach Queens fig you're likely to get nothing.I would so buy that. Certain series that seem perfect for figurines are not getting any, or else getting very sparse and cheaply made ones. It makes little sense.

I assume you've never seen Katanagatari?joking right?
joking right?
But Free!! was on the box last season.Amagi Brilliant Park 03
KyoAni is really making up for all those years that they didn't do fanservice with this series, I tell ya what.
There's always a method to my madness.
If it gets more people watching Katanagatari just like the chart gets people watching Texhnolyze, then i've done good in the world.
I assume you've never seen Katanagatari?
Because there's definitely a veeeeery good reason Thoraxes said thatsomewhat sarcastically

I have. Not all of it. Some fights were well thought out but in terms of animation and choreography it didn't do much to me.
That's... not what I was asking at all. Maybe you should watch the episode first to know what I'm even talking about? Just saying.
Hm... Might check some of those out then.
You read the book or watched the movie before?
I didn't even know it was based on anything. Though its very europeaness I guess makes it scream based on some euro novel.
I did think spending a double episode on backstory that other shows would put in a flashback scene or two was curious. And I do like the backgrounds a lot. And given the notorious nature of tv anime cg I found it fine for the most part.
Rookie mistake. It's written by NisiOisiN. The main focus is the exposition. I'm a big fan of his style though; I enjoy it greatly.
The guy was rushing in his performance.
(Rushing is a term used to indicate that in the structure of linear music, he is performing notes ahead of the other performers (in this case it's his accompaniment, the pianist); they are not together)
Like, a sixteenth to an eighth ahead. Which is really horrible. To me it almost hurt to listen to it get messed up that badly lol. Pretty much would get huge marks off for something like that in solo contests.

I just checked and it looks like Samurai Flamenco on Netflix is the broadcast version. :| I used this to look for changes in the first episode.
Twintail 1-2
You know what I like? Honesty. It's arguably my biggest gripe with the anime industry at the moment. Many series these days create a premise or a world, but it is largely used as a vehicle to put blood or tits on your screen instead of creating a compelling story or characters using the setting.
In this series you have one of the dumbest concepts of all time, but it knows exactly what it wants to be and what it wants to do. It has the right amount of playing genre tropes straight, but also the right amount of self-awareness to poke fun of it's concept and the genres it represents. The result is something that is really funny and enjoyable. And I was snickering throughout both episodes. Hopefully it can keep up the pace.
This is a show about a damn hairstyle, and it has been better than about 75% of shows I have seen this year on a sheer enjoyment level. AOTY.
Also, those bad guys have impeccable taste.

Wait what the heck, I don't remember this. Did they add this fight into the BD release after only showing us the aftermath during the original TV run?
Gah, Woofington is banned?*sigh* Woof you lovable son of a bitch. Please tell me his ban isn't long.
