I guess the point is that every SSY image is a spoiler now since if you just started watching, you'd have no idea there was a time jump.
I think knowing that the show will skip into the future is unlikely to negatively affect your enjoyment of the show. I don't think people complain when people post about the time skips in Gurren Lagann without spoiler marks, for instance. It's not a crucial plot element that the show covers different periods of time, and the anime staff have been pretty upfront about it, with the key visual on the show's website showing images from the timeskip for weeks now.
But I DO think that, regardless of what the general sentiment towards From The New World became
in this thread once 7th posted sexchart.jpg (which was a massive spoiler IMO, but I believe he only linked it), the relationship stuff should be off-limits in images.
There are certain big key things that I think are major spoilers for a show, which are:
i) Relationships you can't predict from a basic synopsis of the show, whether familial or romantic
ii) Deaths and rebirths
iii) Sudden character appearances when they are thought to be absent from a show for whatever reason
iv) Major plot revelations
Those are things I personally wouldn't post images revealing because I believe they can spoil enjoyment of a show for other people.
However, this comes from someone who doesn't watch anime comedies. I'd never really considered, say, how all the Chuunibyou GIFs affect people who watch that show - presumably they spoil all the good jokes/sequences in advance and so make it less fun to watch, but do people think of them as "spoilers" in the same way?

This is true.
The shipping was well known from that original promo chart posted months ago.
It wasn't a promo chart. It was fanmade. Massive spoiler.
