Have mine from Amazon and one for my friend from best buy both marked as shipped. I had to change the shipping to pick up at UPS.

Just received an email from Gamestop saying my order was delayed due to an "Unforseen shipping delay" and will ship "slightly later than expected" Apparently they are giving me a 10$ gift card for my trouble at least. I really wish retailers could have a way to give you your Steam key electronically so I could at least play the game on time considering the physical version activates on Steam anyway.
MIne was like this, but UPS sent me an updated scheduled delivery date for tomorrow via email and it was reflected in the tracking info soon after.
If Amazon promised it would be delivered tomorrow originally (if you have prime or paid for the shipping that would get you launch day), what I would do is go ahead and buy another copy tomorrow and play that one until you get yours. Call Amazon in the meantime and complain to them not meeting their promise and try to get them to give you a credit for failling to meet their promise. After you get your game, sell the copy you bought for 45-50 (I'm sure some one will be happy to get a discount for the used copy) on ebay or craigslist. Hopefully AMazon will give you enough of a credit to cover your loss but if not it's only 15 dollars or less to be able to play launch day.
That was going to be my plan cause I took Wednsday and Thursday off and I wasn't about to not have Fallout to play those two days. But for me Amazon and UPS are both saying I'm getting it tomorrow. So unless some asshole steels it from my door (gotta work mid day so it may be left at the door), I'm good. But I find the UPS and Fedex drivers are pretty good about hiding the packages and our door isn't so easily seen from the street.

For those who ordered with Amazon Prime, do you guys remember if it was a guaranteed release day delivery? I'm irritated that mine got moved to Weds as I had arranged time off tomorrow to play it, and want to know if there's anything Amazon would do to smooth things over...

It usually is guaranteed delivery date shipping but it always has a Two day shipping option which is stupid when you check out

That is generally what happens with release date materials when UPS suddenly shows yours as showing up a day later. Amazon's site will even change based on UPS temporarily.

Best Buy dun goofed. My PC version only shipped today (pre-ordered in June), ETA to my home is Wednesday.
We only got two copies at my store (people pre-ordered), people that changed their order from ship to home to ship to store seemed to get their shipment delayed somehow. Dunno why. This is what happens when you support their highly inflated special editions, super fail, what a shame.
One of my friends is in the same boat and is considering being a bad boy and pirating the game, then just transferring his save when his Pip Boy Edition arrives.

But I do want to say that a lot of times if you have release date shipping, it might say it's scheduled for the day after but they often update it to arrive on the correct day when it gets closer to arrival. Happens to me a lot on amazon.

I'd imagine retailers would get in trouble for shipping it a day early, even though this happens quite often with many releases (movies and videogames) at my Best Buy. I was kinda of banking on this happening.
Kinda stinks that I'm probably going to get it a day late now and not even on release day.

I cancelled my pipboy edition and got the steam digital version.
2 reasons
1: I've noticed niggas around here like to steal packages off people's porches this time of year(already missing one package)
2: I'm impatient as fuck and dont wanna wait till after work to play tomorrow, gonna play at midnight tonight, ETA 1 hour, 30 minutes.
gonna arrive at work, HELLA late tomorrow because of this game.

It would be neat for awhile, but just judging by the default screen size I don't see this being very good to use in the long run. If you really want that kind of functionality you're probably better off buying an armband and going full screen. Bonus in that you won't be in as awkward a situation if someone calls and you're not just using a retired phone you didn't sell or give away.

Apparently my Pipboy order left Georgia on Friday, made it to Jacksonville on Sunday, but it's currently back in Georgia?! Swainsboro is not exactly close to Jacksonville, so I hope this is some weird glitch.
It is.
Happened to my girlfriend's copy. I called and they said it was just a glitch, because there's no way it could cover that distance in the short time shown.

Neither my buddy, who ordered the XOne version on the german Amazon store has a shipping notice, nor i, ordered the PS4 version on the french Amazon site because imissed it when it was available on amazon.de.
Mine says "Out for delivery today" since yesterday morning.
... i think amazon.de had some similar problems earlier this year with Witcher 3, they really need to step up their game here.

I've not had any email from Game since Friday night saying it was dispatched, yet people are getting tracking slots for the courier.
Also notice they've got the Pip Boy Edition available on Xbox One. But only if you spend 400 quid on their bundle. Same old slimebag Game.

I am actually kind of impressed with GAME right now. Against all expectations they might just actually finally deliver me an order. It is quite a shocking thing too behold if I am honest.
Last night I went to bed not knowing what the hell was happening with my pre-order and prepared myself for a lengthy session of phoning them this morning to find out what was happening. I got up this morning and there were two emails (one sent at 1am seriously who fucking sends them out at that time of the morning).
Anyway the upshot of it all is a bloke called Chris is currently meandering around this fair city with my parcel. I am apparently delivery 58 and he is on delivery 34. My parcel is approximately 1hr 15mins away from delivery and about the only thing I do not know is the colour of the underwear Chris is wearing.
I still won't be able to play it till after 8pm tonight though cos I will have to download a crapload of data and I am capped between 8am and 8pm.

My wife informs me that it's arrived. And there was next to no backlash as she didn't know a 100 quid collectors edition was due to arrive. She was more inquisitive about the bobblehead!
