Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition

Amazon screwed me too. Argued with one lady who said they didn't promise release day delivery 😡 Which is stupid and she didn't want to talk to me anymore. I finally called them and they at least credited me 24 bucks and a month of prime 😕. I'm pretty pissed at Amazon to say the least.

To make matters worse I just got a txt saying its shipped and will arrive today. Tracking shows tomorrow. What a cluster fuck.

I feel your pain bros. Going to pick it up at gamestop now and talked to an amazon chat rep that is cancelling it. This is has never happened with amazon prime for me.
 
... finally shipped. Expected delivery date... tomorrow.

UPS, shipped from the New Jersey warehouse.

At least I have tomorrow off thanks to the holiday.

Weirdly, it was shipped by UPS, but FedEx just dropped it off. WTF?

Or perhaps FedEx just delivered something next door. Who knows.
 
Cannot believe a normal game case didn't come with it. Even MGSV had it which was not expected.


Any one know what the black button on the top right of the Pipboy is? I pressed it and its stuck in there, I don't know how to undo it.
 
Lol sigh... I just talked to two different amazon reps that both guaranteed me that it would be here today.

Then 20 minutes later I finally get shipping confirmation. "Expected delivery date: wednesday, november 11".

Like, what. the. fuck. They've had so many days to ship this for release date delivery and they fucking wait until today.

I didn't pay anything for shipping but I did ask for release date delivery... do they not owe me anything for being a day late?
 
Mine has been delivered and is setting on my porch. I won't be home for another 5 hours.
If any of you can find my house, you can easily steal it.
 
Amazon still hasn't shipped mine. Just says supposed to ship today and arrive Thursday. This is with prime and 2 day lol. Only reason I'm not raging is because I have one from BB arriving today. Amazon is usually great with preorders, not sure what happened with this.
 
Does the PC version just come with a steam key? I couldn't wait and bought a key to play yesterday and I want to make some of my money back.
 
Thought I had a rather slim chance but tried it anyways.

Went to best buy first thing this morning, turns out they had them all sitting behind the counter. Asked to buy one, got asked if I have a preorder (no), no problem. Walked out a happy cookie.

So they do have them in stores? I would've preferred just picking mine up at the store instead of waiting on delivery but it wasn't an option when I preordered.
 
So to the lucky people that got it. Does the ps4 version actually have the regular game case? Like if I were to go buy it and then return the one that's in the pip boy edition. Would that be possible?

Its unfortunately only the steel book case with no "normal" case.
 
So, that black button on top? DON'T TOUCH IT.

There's nothing behind it to hold it up.

To fix, remove part of the arm liner, there are three phillips screws helping hold that covering on. You can barely get your finger in and fix it.
 
Hit up 3 Targets this morning, first one 15 minutes after they opened, and the Jones Nuka Cola was already sold out. Sounds like Target sent out 1 case to some if not most stores. Ah well, they were on the way to work, so I figured it was worth a shot.
 
Little worried/confused. I got my shipping notification from Amazon yesterday morning with delivery confirmed for today and going in my account and looking up orders, tracking package....all says it'll be here today.

However, if I open my email and hit the tracking link in that it sends me to a page telling me it's on time for delivery "Wednesday November 11th before 8pm". Of course they shipped it via USPS so the tracking is for shit and just tells me it left Delaware yesterday and that's all the info I have.

WTF?!

Good to know. I think it's supposed to be the eject button for the tape drive.
 
Got an update from Amazon that the item would not arrive until tomorrow. Spoke with customer service just now, I suggested that I be compensated the cost of the base game so I could buy that today since my CE wouldn't arrive until tomorrow or a digital copy. They agreed. I went with the 60 dollar refund so I can buy it locally.

They were late on a stick preorder I made a while ago. While I don't think it was their fault, but Hori's since nobody else seemed to ship it out on time either, they still gave me a 20 percent refund, which was a not too shabby 30 bucks. My order wasn't only a day late though. I'd ask...what's the worst that could happen? Maybe just contact them and tell them how disappointed you are that your shipment got screwed up and that it's wrecking your plans.

Very happy that my phone fits in this with the s3 insert and the android app seems to running well on my phone (although I haven't installed the game yet, so I'll have to see how it interacts with the game). I was really expecting problems since I don't have a very popular phone (Blackberry Z10). I really, really doubt that I'll be wearing this thing for more than five minutes, though. If even that...

Hmm did your copy ship yesterday, promised for today but had conflicting info? Just wondering if I should call or leave it be and see if it shows up today....

No. The last rep I talked to said it will definitely arrive today. But they didn't ship the game until this morning and UPS was saying delivery tomorrow. If they shipped yours yesterday it should come today.
 
Amazon stealth update on my shipping. Says it will deliver tomorrow. Tracking says it already arrived my local post office. Hoping it will be today! This is standard shipping said it will ship Nov 16-20. No Prime. Thank you Amazon.

They shipped mine USPS though coming from Delaware to Michigan which has me worrying and my account shows it today but another Amazon tracking page is telling me tomorrow, so I don't know what the hell is up. The USPS site and tracking number tells me nothing unlike UPS' tracking system.

USPS seriously sucks when it comes to tracking packages. Very few times I get it to work and I've had packages show as at their sorting station still long after I've received them.

Yeah USPS tracking isn't great. I had solid ground to stand since they told me I assure you, you will have it on by 8 PM on 11/10 at about 10:00 AM today and then an hour later UPS updated to say 11/11.

You can grab a bottle for about $150 on eBay.

Fucking resellers. Screw Jones for only sending 12 bottles to a store.

Add me to this list. I've never had an issue with Prime, so this is that much more disappointing. Especially since convenience at work led to me having half a day off, it's so tempting to just go grab the Steam version right now...

Well the Amazon rep was like "Yeah it is supposed to arrive today. Can you wait till Thursday?" Uh no not if went with and paid for release date delivery.

So she put me on hold and checked with the carrier to confirm it will be here today. Hopefully anyway. lol

Same here. I checked my bank though and it shows that Amazon charged me for the order so I'm guessing they shipped it out.
