Anyone know when Amazon will charge my card for this? I all have the CoD Juggernog edition coming and I want to make sure I have all the funds on my account lol

Depends on your shipping but I'd guess around the 7th if 2 day. Maybe sooner if standard. Gamestop is charging the 4th.

Sucks as I want to have the game installed on my Xbox one for me getting home from work but don't want partner opening it

people need to be aware-that is not the season pass- in the pip boy editions-its a card that promotes the season pass-with a copy of Fallout 3 download for XB1 on the reverse side

Just a heads up, I did not get the season pass with it. That season pass slip was just an advert for it. The code on the back is for a free download of Fallout 3 (Xbox One - backwards compatibility haha. I got too excited and didn't read it properly. My bad!

Does the pip-boy app will be available for every smartphone? Or just the ones that fit?

Also will be launched the same day or before?
 
Had it ordered on Prime, but ended up canceling it. Besides, I have a Note 5 anyways and not a Fisher-Price smartphone.

Part of me still wants it, but I just bought Halo and the Elite controller. And though Fallout will suck up most of my gaming time, Star Wars is coming out shortly after, and I planned on grabbing that as well. I'm even going to wait on Tomb Raider. Too many games.

Oh well, digital code of Amazon is just as cool, right? :(
 
Saw the Eurogamer video on this. The made in china sticker on the inside, the way it wobbled around his arm, the cheap look of it... I would be pissed if I had spent money on that.
 
Honestly, I'd probably cancel my Pip-boy edition if GAME hadn't made us pay a stupid £20 deposit to join a Facebook group. Firmly reinstated my "never use GAME" policy. Nevertheless I'm excited to get a big videogamey box with a neat trinket inside. It looks nice enough and all I'm gonna do is dork around with it anyway. Should be a bit of fun.
 
That case for the Pip-Boy seems very much plastic, as opposed to the description on Amazon, which lists it as a metal case. Disappointing.

I do not want to sound arrogant at all but even though I had money to spare,hence the fact that I bought the Pip-boy edition after saving, It doesn't really look like it's worth it.

I will still be excited as hell, and give it a special place next to my TV but that might be it.

Or maybe I'll use it all the time, I don't know :P

You buy these editions to support and show your love for the series/developers.

I think it looks absolutely amazing and will proudly display this on my self.
Whenever I find space, thing is HUGE :D

I have a Nokia Lumia 521 I bought for $19 awhile back, I wonder if the app will run on it properly. It's literally just collecting dust at the moment, so if I can throw it in my Pip-Boy and just leave it there, that would be awesome.
 
Looks cool to me but not like it'll matter since I won't open it. It'll go in the display cabinet next to my sealed FO3 and FONV collector's editions.
 
Just realized I have my Galaxy S3 still. Looks like I still have use for it. Hopefully the app is compatible with whatever version of android I have on there.
 
Both the chest and the pip boy look super plastic cheap. I pity anyone who fell for that. I'd downgrade ASAP if I still had the chance. Glad I went with the GMG fall voucher pre-order.

No. I went with GMG right away, since it is the cheapest option and had no intention of getting anything BUT the game. I never buy the CE of a game. I think the last one I got was for SF4.

I thought the pip boy was a neat idea, but upon seeing the unboxing videos it just LOOKS terrible.

If you don't mind me asking, Did you use a coupon with GMG, and if so how much off was it. ?
 
I have my Pipboy Edition pre-ordered at Best Buy still, but I have to say, that looks really plasticky - the seal at the top is clearly visible and lends to it looking super cheap.

Do the knobs on the side at least do anything via bluetooth connectivity, or is this literally just a hollow shell with no other guts at all?

Pretty disappointed so far, hope my mind changes when it arrives. Oh well. At least it'll help me nerd out more and give me a gimmick to appreciate the game with.
