So the tracking on Amazon's website says "On time" arriving tomorrow by 8 p.m. When I plug the tracking number into UPS's website, it says "On time" with a scheduled delivery date for Wednesday end of day. Gahhhhhh! Who do I believe?!
Anyone know if this is common? I usually buy my games at Best Buy, not Amazon, so I'm not familiar.

Mine was preparing for that long. Just changed to shipped an hour ago.
It doesn't say an estimated delivery date.

My order from Best Buy shipped last night, tracking still hasn't updated, just blank.
My Gold edition shipped last friday and it also hasn't updated tracking either, also blank.
Bestbuy shows shipped, but status says "initiated"

Shipped status from Best Buy, tracking isn't working yet, so there's no way I'll get it tomorrow.
I wouldn't lose hope yet. It can take 24 hours for the tracking info to update. Also someone mentioned earlier in this thread that they first send these out in big bunches to distribution centers all over the country, so when your order actually updates to shipped it's already pretty close to you. They were talking about Amazon but it probably applies to Best Buy as well.

Reading over shipping issues here caused me to check my account-- sure enough, it's apparently arriving Thursday. My Amazon order of that collectors edition of the vault survival guide or whatever it's called will be here tomorrow, of course.
My Best Buy Gold Edition hasn't shipped yet either, but they're usually here on release despite inaccurate/missing shipping data. Granted I've picked up 95% of games in-store, so Amazon has shipped way more shit to me.
I'm tempted to grab it from Wal-Mart or something and return Amazon's once it arrived, but I have a feeling the UPC will be different or simply say it's not for sale on the back.

Fuck. At least it didn't get cancelled, but goddamn did I want to sink a few hours into this tomorrow. Fingers crossed for Best Buy making it on time-- I'm pretty sure they will, but the anxiety is messing with my head

Funny enough, my Gold edition shipped last week, no tracking update yet. And my Collector's edition guide said it had a scheduled release date finally of Nov 10th. and that it would arrive Nov. 12th. (Even though I did release date shipping). Then I got an email that said my order was upgraded "FOR FREE" to release date shipping and would arrive Nov 13th. So now I'm not getting it until Friday.

My GameStop order has shipped. My Amazon is still preparing for shipment, which I'm fine with now that I remember I went with regular shipping on both 
GameStop should get here on the 12th. Amazon expects the 16th by the earliest! Wow, I need to start giving GameStop more credit than I have been recently, and that preorder was made during one of the few more units available instances. My Amazon preorder was made on the night of the announcement!

My Bestbuy.com PS4 Pip-boy shipped over the last 30 minutes or so, almost a full 4 days in preparing for shipping status. Totally can't tell when it's getting here though, no estimate on the website and UPS doesn't have the tracking number yet.
Amazon.com is still showing preparing for shipping, chatted with a rep and he stated he expected it would arrive on release date even though the current estimate is to ship on 11/10 and arrive on 11/12. He stated it was far enough along he couldn't change the shipping speed.
All in all I have this sneaking suspicion that I'll end up doing a Redbox rental for the first night/most of Wed and see what shows up by Thursday.

My Pipboy shipped on Friday, and apparently is on the truck for delivery today. Of course I'm in another STATE atm and won't be back to grab it til Wed.

Mine is the same. Unfortunately I've had it go both ways. I've had the UPS date change because the package is listed as standard freight but actually ends up being part of air parcel. Sometimes it legit shows up late.

My Pip Boy from Best Buy has shipped! It is in transit to a UPS facility in Georgia. I live in North Carolina. Maybe there is a chance for delivery tomorrow...

Amazon has the best and most reliable shipping in the online retail industry by far.

in England the postman would always come around 10am. If he didn't, something was up. Now I live in America and the mail doesn't even come til 4pm, and I live in an apartment complex with a front desk which closes.. so there's a chance it will come tomorrow and sit in their office overnight before they sort the mail. Very frustrating.
Everyone keep in mind that Release Day delivery is a guarantee and, barring outside influence that isn't Amazon's fault, they will usually either offer refunds or some kind of small credit for the trouble. It won't make up for the disappointment, but if it does not arrive tomorrow due to Amazon's shipping, it might be worth hitting up their CS to complain and see what you can get out of it.

Does the moto x have a camera bump? Do the inserts account for odd shapes?
I've been considering this too. A coat of matte paint would make a world of difference. My only concern is avoiding covering up the lettering.
Follow up:
About 7 hours later, UPS has now picked up the package. It's a few cities away from me. Looks like it will be on schedule. Excited!
